  3. "also i think it makes the bike look a lot more original as you can spot powdercoat jobs a mile away! " Not mine you wouldnt !!!!!!!!!!!!!!! "mmmmm! I should have wet+dryed it down a bit more as has been mentioned what you start with is what you'll finish weve! if i flat it back with wet and dry should this be used with water? the w+d is 600 grade!" 600 will be ok but no coarser though for cans, best to use with warm soapy water as the primer is less likely to pick up and you are less likely to put scrathes in the primer with the edges of the paper!
  4. apparantly they are in the uk,with a uk stockist
  5. Oi , i don't remember painting dog%$*
  6. Them aftermarket billet rear 4rt pedals are pretty good too, no chance of busting them!
  7. Yikes , aerosols!! The final finish will only be as good as the preperation Scotty. Have a good look at your primed and sanded finish and imagine it glossy cos that is all that will happen when you put on the topcoat. It will just highlight the primer with very little 'fill'. 1st move for cellulose cans is as you pointed out , it must be warm , if not the paint will 'bloom' ie go cloudy and look bloody awful. One trick is to put the cans that you are going to use into a bucket of hot water to warm up the cans and paint until you are ready to use them. BE PATIENT !!! Put your 1st coat on reasonably dry (a speckle coat i call it) and let it flash off(this will give the topcoat a key). No need to sand it down but then then apply another wetter coat. Leave for 15 mins ish between coats (depends on how wet you put the last coat and really until tacky) and then apply again. I reckon after your speckle coat coat 2-3 good full coats should do it. The last coat is the finishing coat so will requirea little more but dont get too carried away as you can soon ruin the whole job with a load of runs in the last coat!! Bear in mind that to awkward to paint places tend to be the same places that you will get your runs.(from brackets and lugs etc) Hope this helps Mark
  8. I believe that a few different companies do the lift kit links. Do Mitani also not do them, most of their stuff has some link to hrc does it not?

  12. Presumably then the reason he has dissapeared maybe that he went bust eh, charging as little as that?? Strip your wheels yerself, its dead easy. Just run a straight edge across your rim on both sides and measure the distance from the straight edge to the hub. This will determine your offset, as you strip the spokes , either seperate or make a note which spokes came from which side. If you are not planning on doing the hubs and just the rims then undo the nipples and leave all the spokes in place in the hub and just pull out from the rim. I have done this many times when just doing my own rims without the hubs!!

    Exhaust Paint

In my own opinion the best sprayable paint out there is House of Color hi temp black. Is guaranteed up to some ridiculous figure and does exactly what it says on the tin
