  1. most enjoyable trial of the year so far, proper trial, proper sections, well done to everyone involed! great trial.
  2. dont listen to lewis greeves, i think your photos are spot on, and thank you very much for putting them on here for us to see, maybe lewis can put his on here to show his good quality, nicework greeves.
  3. excellent trial, sections spot on, heard a few scores aftre trial, jarvis 6 thrope 8 brown 10 dabill 11 anyone know any others? haslem, walker or ludgate wont be far off that i dont think,
  4. oh mr john, you took my post a little to serious, id love to whisper in your ear, i was just stating a few little points, and to say that you think that people like me dont do anything to help trials is a load of poo, im involed in a motorclub and set out all the trials, and also involed in results and entries etc, i help on training days, infact i will do all i can to help trials and riders etc, i would be more than happy to join the forum as i didnt know about it, i know what your saying as im just sat at the computer saying what i think, because at the end of the day i dont know the facts and figures, i was just been an a***, over the years i wanted support from the a.c.u and also seen entries and events get worst, but as i said above i dont know what your aloud to spend your money on, i will put my name down for the forum for future if you end up wanting to start one again, my post was a little to personal as i know you will work your ass off with what you have got just to get a prat like me to get a giggle, so for that i apologise.
  5. try ebay? or any enduro/motorcross shop on the nett or near you.
  6. good picture! keep it up. you got anymore?
  7. no free ride trials, the rules around where you ride in different countries is different from over here, there aloud over there, so that bit over here isnt good, but the free riding is.

    Scott Trial

i will ride in the team if you get desperate, im already riding anyway, best trial of the year!!!!!!!!!!!
  9. yeah i think this way of trials is how it could go, or maybe be another type of trials, like motocross has free style. i think its good for the sport.what does anyone esle think??????????????????????????????????????????
  10. that clip was pretty good, the guy on the montesa is taichi tanaka, whos a works montesa/honda rider, used to do world rounds but now just rides in the japan, the bike looked very special.
  11. they have there own website called outofsection.com, they have dvds and merch, its catching on all over the world, the two guys on the clip are crosset and dupont, who are both pretty handy trials riders anyway, crosset used to do world rounds and dupont also has a free ride team called dupont&co, its been going for years, i emailed them and they hopr to do some demos in the uk soon, should try and get them at sheffield.
  12. it is broke, so it needs fixing!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
  13. very good points, but all trials know that abit of money and credit would be nice sometime, i dont ever think a top line trials rider will being getting taken around in a private jet, or dating britney spears & swimming in a swimming pool full of cash, but just a little bit of credit and money would help riders pay the way, because lets face it, trials isnt cheap!
  14. money. its all about money. not just for good riders to get more, just so trials gets more global, like dougie lampkin best trials rider the world has ever seen, best motorcycle rider the world has ever seen! (i think) but he dosent get an 1/8 as much attention, money, credit as valentino rossi, ricky carmicheal etc, or jordi tarres (in spain) if trials gets bigger and global the oppertunities are endless.
  15. its a way to make trials massive! get more outside people into trials, have fun with it, still have trials as we know it, and all the points ive made i still stick by, extreme trials just opens more doors.
  16. agree also with your comments, free ride trials! check out outofsection.com, there going to try and get it in the x games etc, i think that will get more people involed in trials, more extreme! people like extreme, not slow, lycra, stoping starting, thats why trials videos have to be edited all the time. trials does have to go more rural, but also we need some kind of extreme events, to get more outside people involed, like crosser with the team xtreme demos, that would get more outside viewers watching and interested, like motocross have free style motocross,
  17. ha ha,i ment to say "sections more traditional"
  18. good points, yeah the euro rounds do have an international class, the worlds should, because like you say the elite are elite,it wouldnt take much doing because they already lay out the junior route, and your point of the sections been more natural and raditioanl i agree 100%.
  19. yeah i know were kind of going off the path, i think the wtc needs, 1) stops a 1 rule back 2) try and encourge more riders to ride by having a few ridable sections 3) maybe try having an international class so adult riders can ride the junior route, but get pionts towards the championship 4) be able to drop 2 or more rounds becaues not everyone can afford to go to japan etc, 5) all riders to ride standard machinery
  20. dabster you have some good points but your also missing the point, for one i said make at least 4 sections to national standard just to make other people think they might wanna give it a go, and the whole talk wasnt just about the wtc, everyone whos that no matter the standard of sections the same names would be the front, and what would be the point of a "nearly hard enough world trials champs" but at the same time wouldnt it be nice to have a world champion on all different types of terrain and types of section? i know dan thorpe is never going to world champion but at the same time get thorpey and raga up in scotland or in a trial like the jack wood and thorpe would give him a run for his money! dan thorpe is the best national trials rider in the traditional trials and should be able to have a go at a few sections. this post started with where will trials go and all im saying that if the dont make a few changes to the standard of sections it will get silly, but at the end of the day there is no money in the sport so its always going to be hard, as makes of bikes are finding it hard to make money, so they make enduro aswell. i just think the wtc is a circus at the moment. and with just a few changes it could be made into a better championship with more riders, instaed of 12! my dad could ride of his bsa and get 3 wtc points! how gay is that! and not just going to sit at my computer and just point fingers because i would be willing to do every i can to help and put ideas forward, im involed with setting alot of trials out, and my family has been involed for about 50years so im not just sticking me two pennys in, there just needs to be a change, before the rider has to have a rocket up his a*** to get up the sections and a million ounds in the bank to compete at the top level!
  21. does anyone know what days back cowm is open for practice? as i drove up there a few times in the week a month ago or so and was told "no trials bikes"
  22. good points boyd, its true the national scene ie, the scott, ssdt, cleveland, white rose etc are booming with entrys, and also much more enjoyable than the btc and the wtc, good little comments aswell. nicework.
  23. wow, you have far to much time on your hands mate, good points though, i still think im right though!!!!!!!!!! lol, everyone to there own, i ride at a high level and also involed in a club and the running of it so im just going on past experience, but you also seem to know your way round the a.c.u hand book etc. i dont because i burnt mine and danced on the burning embers while laughing at the current state of the a.c.u. many thanks.
