  1.

My old carb was alright but i had to do the mods and loop the over flow pipe up and over the idle screw so fuel wasn't pi#sing out every where.

Still had the 5 kicks to start it when slightly pointing down hill.

So have not had the problems like others but it just wasn't right but the Dellorto is is in a diffrent league and sounds lovely at low revs when making it grunt and some how more managable as you wind it on.

I still have the flywheel weight on after years of taking them off and not being able to keep up with the bike so this time left them on and riding better than ever but i think the Dillorto will help aswell.

This is written in laymans terms because i am not very technical (Yes Justin and not very bright)but after today if i was only borrowing the Dellorto to try it i would go and buy one tomorrow i am that happy with it.

  2. Betarev3 thinks taking ya socks off is forplay and if the truth is known Lisa recons i treat sex like i was on a price.

Ha nothing wrong with that i say...... anyway this is not answering the carb for and against question.

Please any help would be good.

Will the cable fit? please anyone.

  3. Got a Dellorto at long last, thanks to Scott for the good deal, i think he was please to sell just to stop me pestering him. :D

Like Justin said will try it Sunday if the bikes back together in time.

Any pros and cons with them, will it fit straight on Scott had it fitted by a shop so not sure what they done to it.

Is it the same cable, are the rubbers either side ok ect. A bit of pre warning will help.

    :D:):xmas:

Apart from it stopping the fuel pi#sing out anything else.

    Cheers.

  4. This might be going of the subject a little but who's rev 4 is in the T&MX with Jon stood by it because there is a Dunlop sticker on the top of the fork leg.

Has it been made up for someone or do they come with Dunlop on. Would Michelin be peeved there name is not on the bike when it come with Michelins on them?

  5. Well done Andy, i Blo#dy hate with avengences poeple who gain in this way. Well done on removing them from the site. Poeple are saying he is a nice bloke and we all make mistakes but if there were 10 B&Bs on here this site would be sh#t, who would you believe or trust with anything that was said.

Well done Andy and all who were involved in the decision.

  6. See where you are coming from, but the novogars are one route trials for a reason, perhaps John COLLINS can explain the reason for this?

I know but i am selfish. We drive for hours at the weekends to do 1 or 2 lap trials and there is one on our door step and its to hard for us. Is 1 route realy better than 2 routes, i'm sorry i just can not see the point of 1 route apart from lack of good sections for the better riders.

  7. Well said that man (Chris) i to would like to see 2 routes 160 + riders the top riders on our doorstep, bring it on.

I for one would love to do a road base trial every other week and to be riding around with the likes of the names mentioned earlyer couldn't think of a better day out. A JOY to see them uns ride while walking a section. Nice.

I can't see a problem with two routes, 30 on the hard rest on the easyer one or any amounts.

Northern Experts was a great trial. I can't see why the same can't apply for the Colmore, with the the Novergar run on the easyer course.

If there is any chance to be walking in the same section as say Mr Saunders to the left, Dad to my right and the observer souting mind ya back Tubby Young Morris is riding the section, The boy wonder is lining up with Mr Jarvis and Mr Colley thats blo#dy hevan that is, Young Sam doing a few wheel hops just to get me to say Nice Very Nice, i say again Bring it on 2 Routes at the Colmore.

Oh and in the same section as Chris (is he any good :) )

If anyone says they wont come i say yes they will

  8. Am i right in thinking Bou has gone on to a Mont? He must have tried the beta and thought he had more chance on the Mont.

He wouldn't have moved just for the money would he?

So is the mont better engine wise.

  9. I'LL ALSO GET ME COAT. ( BRICKLAYER) Now I'm sure I've lowered the tone so lets see some other proper jobs posted (joke)

I,m a Window cleaner but some might say thats a cover. Gives me time to have coffee and swap a few lies with Justin. Some say that i,m part time aswell.

  10. Yep well done to all, some A#se twitchers, some tight and some nice drop offs.

I dropped loads more than i should have but had a very enjoyable day, will be coming again.

Had to have a word with 2 lads a Sam Bloke and a Jack lad who followed me and Just all day asking for advice and what gear you doing this in but we managed to loose them on the last lap so they probably stuggled abit, i think we just piped them.

Great day see ya next time.
