I protected the frame on my newly repainted Ossa with "Stone chip vinyl" as used in the motor trade to protect new cars,
It is transparent about 1mm thick and is self adhesive, cut to shape it is invisable once in place,Try Halfords but if you cant find it let me know and i will send you some, I can get it from work in reasonable quantities.

Hi Jay,
Awsome Job you have done on the 'Frog' You made a bike that looks great and mechanically improved on the original,
more important you get on it and Ride it.
Well done,

Just thought I would share a couple of pic's of our Ossa TR 350 in action at the Ebacorum Charity Twinshock 2 Day Trial, a superb event, well organised and a really friendly crowd.
The Bike was road by my Son Scott it was his first on a Twinshock and he had a wide grin on his face the whole way round,
The bike performed well apart from running Rich which we traced to a leaking float, "Thanks again to this forum for the advice"
And most important No Scratches or Dents !!!
I will post some Pic's and some Video footage on our Web site,

Hi Woody, The Lad 'Owner of a Mint Honda' said it was running rich as "it was not picking up" as well as it should.
Im sure it is not the silenser as it was de bunged just recently, it could be the Bing carb cos i have been having probs with it leaking, i tried setting it up myself but it is looking likely that it may be the cause of my problem,
Thanks for the tip on fuel mix i will do that straight away.
Cheers,
Vaughan.

Hi All,
We finally got our Ossa TR 350 out on the rough stuff at the excellent Eboracum 2 day Charity trial, My son Scott rode it on the Saturday only and for just two laps but we had a great time and the bike performed quite well and got lots of positive comments from the other riders / owners.
One problem pointed out to me was the bike was running 'Rich', at the risk of proving how un mechanical i am can anyone tell me how to adjust this, also I am mixing Oil to Petrol at 75cc to 5lts is this correct.
Cheers,
Vaughan & Scott.

Thanks Everyone for clearing my question on How old do you have to be to ride a 250cc,
My reason for asking is that I have a Son whis is 16 he is 5'10" and 11stone he rides a 250cc Scorpa in local Clubman class events,
He rides for the love of it not for Points or Cups, I enter him as an adult Novice.
I just wanted to make sure I was not breaking the rules as I have had a few comments from People concerned about the legality of him riding a 250 and only being 16.
Thanks again Vaughan.

I now know of several ways to resize photos but how do you get the photo on the page, as a large photo and not as a Thumbnail or a Link ?
You can guess im not an IT expert,

Thankyou John for clearing that up,

Im not sure if this is the right forum to ask this question but here goes,
How young can you be to ride a 250cc Trials bike within the ACU rules,
If a 16/17 year old enters as a Youth 'A' he / She must ride a 125cc,
However the rule book Page 157 at the bottom of the page states :
"RIDERS AGE
a) Adult riders : A Rider must be at least 16 years of age to participate as an Adult."
So in effect a 16 year old as long as he enters as a "Novice" for example can ride a 250cc.
Can anyone clear this up.
Cheers,
Vaughan.
