Hi, I have a Bing Carb fitted to my Ossa TR 350 1977 which in spite of new Seals and bowl Gasket leaks fuel over my nice fresh engine enamel.
Does anyone know of a replacement alternative, a knowlagable friend said he used a 'Kawasaki KMX 125' item with good performance and no leaks, Any advice most welcome.

Hi, Can anyone point me in the right direction to Registering an 30 year old OSSA with the DVLA,
I would like to Road Register the Bike, I bought it as a Restorastion project without any Paperwork, dont know if it ever was registered.
I had a look on the DVLA site but could not find the answer, If any one can help I will be verry greatful,

Hi there, can anyone explain how to correctly set the Float height on my 1977 Ossa Bing 26mm Carb
There is a brass plate attached to the float which can be adjusted to get the right shut off but im not sure what the gap should be,

Can see the pics? whats the next project you decided yet?
When I get some Dosh together and if I can find a suitable MAR, thats what i would like to do but in the mean time i have a TY 250 at the back of the garage that i think i will start on.
Not going to get it to the same condition as the OSSA but get it good and safe enough to ride it without spending a fortune, well thats the plan.

Just thought I would add our OSSA to this thread, 6 month ago My Son Scott and myself started to restore an OSSA TR 350, we finished it just this week.

We travelled a round trip of 510 miles, my first attendance, got to say I was a little disapointed at not seeing more restored, Finished bikes, however a got some nice cheap bits for the OSSA I am restoring.
The Bike for me was Steve Sell's OSSA MAR what a superb job I hope to achieve that level of finish on my next Project which will be a MAR.

Hello, Can anyone help me out with some settings detail needed to finish my restoration of an OSSA TR 350 1977.
What is the Top Dead Center setting required for the Spark,
What are the Jet settings for a Bing carb,
Has anyone got a drawing of the Ignition wiring including a Kill Switch,
If you can help I will be very grateful,

Been using this Brill site for some time now, signed up for a subscription, worth every penny Andy,
I have never rode a Trials bike in my life but I used to take my younger Brother around the North East in the late 70's on his Bult 125,
My Son Scott got into it 4 years ago and Im playing the Supporting role again, I love the Atmosphere, the People and I really need the weekly excersise.
The one thing I can participate in is our Restoration of a 1977 Ossa 350 We have been working on this since Sep06 and are just about to put all the pieces back together, I am going to make my Debute at age 53 this Spring on the easiest of easy courses that I can find.

Thanks for the advice Woody, I will get a Bash Plate from Steve, I have a dished sprockett the previous owner has fitted an extra bearing and reduced the outside spacer, I can return it to the original spec without too much trouble.
I would appreciate the measurements of the Push rod, for a good sized bag of Sweets im sure the Lad's in our Toolroom at work will knock me one up.

Im after more advice on the OSSA TR350 1977 im restoring,
Can anyone let me know how many wheel bearings there are suposed to be in the rear wheel and in what configuration, also Spacer thickness.
I think my wheel has been modified to take 4 x 6201 bearings, 2 on each side.
Also I have not been able to find a replacement Clutch Push Rod, does any ony have the specifications for one so i can have one made up.
Lastly im looking for a replacement Skid Plate.

Thanks for the advice everyone, it's my first attempt at restoration and its got me hooked iv'e already got a TY 250 1978 to start on next.
It's great to see a nice condition Twinshock being ridden, my Lad Scott would like to ride ours when it's done but he is only 16 and the rules nowadays wont let him.

I just use semi synthetic quite reasonably priced and I change it every 3rd outing, it comes out as clean as it went in and the bike has ran like a dream for the last year and a half.

Hi can anyone point me in the direction of a Supplier of an Ossa, "Clutch Actuating Plunger" for an Ossa TL 350 i am restoring.
