  1. I bought a 2019 Vertigo Vertical R 125 for my son. Issue I have is his bike seems to be very hit and miss starting from Hot. I can generally start it within less than 5 kicks, other times its a complete nightmare. He struggles full stop (c7 stone 12 year old). I ve replaced the plug, new air filter, cleaned the throttle body, recalibrated the TPS (previous owner advised he'd replaced the TPS), but it seems ok one minute, then a bugger the next. I've tried 1/4-1/2 throttle, backing off as it fires, 1/4-1/2 throttle constant, 1/4-1/2 throttle winding it on at bottom of stroke, there is no logic to it, sometimes it'll start and others it wont. I would like to know if anybody has it the STANDARD MAP as installed by Vertigo from the factory. I've restored 'factory map' from the WiFiComm device, but understand this is the GET Factory map, not sure if that's the same as originally installed from Vertigo.
  2. Hi all, About to replace the clutch in my brother’s ‘22 Factory 250. When cold the clutch plates won’t release and it’s 5 mins riding before the clutch works. Ive had it in bits 3 times now and followed all the tips to clear the glue, file and dremmel the plates etc. but it still sticks on cold starts. Works perfectly once warm. I’ve given in and bought a new set of friction plates to fit. On the Factory there are 2 thicker friction plates which go on the outside edges (e.g 1st and last plate in the stack). Now the 5x metal plates are also slightly different as in there are 3 plain plates, and 2 plates with a 90degree lip on the bottom (inside edge). Unfortunately in dismantling and reassembling 3 times I’ve forgotten the order. Looking at the exploded diagram on the Beta site it shows these 2 plates should be in position 2 and 4, so a plain plate in between and on the 2 outer plates. BUT the diagram doesn’t show the lip. So my question is should the 2 lips face inwards toward each other, both outwards away from each other, or not facing the kickstart or both facing the clutch. Any ideas? Cheers Carl
  3. Hugh, I've posted it into the Classified Adverts here with some pics. But if you care to message me you're mobile I can send the direct via WhatsApp (and a couple of videos of it running) Cheers Carl
  4. Hughie, My first Trials bike back after a very long break was my Rev 3 250. I used to ride TY175, Beamish Suzuki 250 and a Bultaco 250 all at schoolboy age. The Beta has all the power when you need it, but delivery is super smooth and gentle, not going to get you into any trouble at all. It's been great for me and as the last of the Rev 3's all the issues/foibles have been sorted out. If you're interested let me know?
