yeah thats what i was thinking, i am going to try a middle route before christmas but this is only going to be at one of the easier trials, when my dad is home to catch me, lol..
was just speaking to him nad he said give it a go, and as you said can always move down a route if necessary...
but we'll see what happens,
its all good fun, so can' complain...
-
i have been riding properly for a few month now and i started off riding really bad at a lincoln mcc trial trials about 3 months ago and dropped 92, went to ride at a grantham trial on sunday and dropped 17, unfortunatley i am moving to cyprus in july 2007 and want to really improve before i go, i was just wondering. at what point do you moce up to the middle/clubman route from the easy route...
thanks....
by the way i had a good ride on sunday, quite pleased with how much i've imporved
-
yeah cf mudguards would look pretty cool, but for taht money i want to get an new ohlins shock, but hey if you get them on your pro please put a pic on cheers...
-
i only want to u the stand for chaning oil and washing teh bike, as i haven't got a clue on how to do anything with the bike..
haha

you know who you are!!!!!
hahaha
-
argh it didn't save...
here it is again
its not the highest quality as it would let me load it up fully, i saved it in paint so if you want to make any good i deas on it, you welcome..
thanks
ps don't laugh, i don't claim to be good at art
-
heres my initial design that i am going to make, i still need to develop the idea, ie. make it so i can get teh bike on the stand with more ease than having to lift it raelly high, which is why i like the idea of the lever and nylon wheel...
but i'm not sure how to do...???
-
i was thinking along the lines of the jack in a box stand, which is teh one you were on about, but the only problem is that they have a solid wood top, i am trying to make mine from box, steel i will post a picture of my initial design... two ticks..
-
i'll see what i can doo...
hahaha
i think if i did decided to sell it, i would probably sell it for abit mroe than a tenner...
but worth a try thanks for your opinions...
-
i am going to make two GRP (glass re-inforced plastic) trays to go under the stnad so i can change the oil easier, i think i am going to use the idea of the jack up stand to raise both wheel off the ground just using one stand, but make it so i can use a foot lever to raise it up, like the "jack in a box" stand...
never know in the future you might be buying a freewheel fozza stand...
or maybe not...
thanks
-
i'm making a trials bike stand for my gcse project, and would like to hear some feedback from you..
would you prefer a stand tht hold the front wheel up separately from the sump guard stand
would you like it to be all in one, and with a bar resting under the head stock
or just a main center stand which is high and holds both wheels off the ground..
anyother idas please say..
thanks
-
yeah i've got to think about all this, but i'm not sure what to do...
thanks...
-
try automatic transmission oil, it reduces the drag on your clutch, and it works really well...
ATF transmission oil, it is cheap as well...
thanks
p.s friends of mine have used all the time and there bike run perfect...
-
the mudgaurds, they would scratch pretty easily i can imagine, sorry for not making it obvious
-
ok, thanks anyway, i wasnt to put some really cool things on my bike, what does everyone think about..
black rims, black mudguards, with gasgas writing in lime green, black swinging arm, also with gasgas writing in lime green...
any other things to annodise please add, keeping with the colour scheemes...
thanks
-
i don't really want to spray them as they would scratch pretty easy, i was kinda thinking of getting a mould for the pastic and having the colour in the plastics, thanks anyway
-
i am new to the forums but i really like the idea of getting some custom plastics for my bike just to make it a little bit more special than the average bike..
if anyone knows were to get them from i would be greatful thanks...
-
that's a nice bike, how did you do that on photoshop cos i want to know what my gasgas 125 wil look like with black plastics and just generally mees around will the colour scheeme
