  1. Gee, I just cannot wait to hear the shuffle of those little size 5 boots again in the sections! It is almost like Santa coming! Next, I can already hear that the Scorpa works like a charm if you dump the Dellorto for a MIC! Hmmmmmm! Sideup, no offense," Billy physics" does not always agree with Einstein! But it "usually" works!
  2. I'm in the same boat, but in doing some checking, you can but a DVD recorder for the TV/ Stereo system for less than $200 that you should be able to input all the old VHS tapes into and record. I even seen a flat screen TV at Target for less than $200 but do not know if it will accept computer input probably RCA type video only. Get a TIVO too? Not sure!
  3. We may have an Arkansas event if Keenan keeps it up!
  4. Stick with Billy's mod. The tubes need to run UP then T and go down!
  5. As much as I appreciate the fact Lewisport did what they did, I too think the rockpile is a bit boring as compared to TTC terrain! I think most riders might be receptive to a paid vacation to do Training Days at TTC! Why not Grimbo or Conner? Maybe others! Possibly Atom? One thing about most riders, they love to ride! I do not think any of them is getting rich! I do hope Alexz and Sam had a good time and are able to do it again! Great kids!
  6. I think the spec was 10mm lower, maybe a bit further back!
  7. Got my '07 today, has 4 digit number stamped into the head! Not sure what that means! I am still curious about the cylinder base spacers listed in the new parts book!
  8. YOU have too much time on your hands! Can I get a job there?
  9. Don't squirt more water than you can pee! That's the rule! If you have to pee, go ahead, I won't look! ps- Fujigas would rather try to kick water 15ft from the stream! Good luck!
  10. I have never seen a spec on ANY small end that needed to be shimmed laterally. The BIG end controls the side play and the top floats!
  11. I believe the Caby bike is the same as the '07 with exception of the fat bars, clamps and swingarm. Is it the same, no!
  12. Trials is certainly an imperfect sport as scoring goes, professional or not! And a lot of the grooming of the sections may be for the sake of safety as far as the WTC guys go! If I am not mistaken, the rules (basically) state that the observer must see the dab(actual contact) as well! Many times this is not physically possible! Benefit of doubt goes to rider! Unless you are a hardass! What then, should the rider volunteer points? Point being what? As a good sportsman, I try to own up and tell the truth if asked, I will admit that sometimes that is hard to do. But RULES are RULES and I have seen both sides! And I have also seen the reversal of roles when the kids were intimidated by the observers and their poor calls on a questionable situation. The PROS get good and bad calls as well, so should you take advantage of a good one? I for one happen to believe that for the most part they are a well diciplined bunch with the current rules in place re- the observers decision. At least, (other than Laia) here they were, in the US. Spain, France or other countries may be different. But I feel much the same about the US national riders. My thoughts,

    Radiator Leak?

If it is brass you should be able to solder it. If aluminum-NOT! Use ACID core solder on brass and clean area well with a wire brush, pref. a stainless toothbrush! Brake cleaner usually works well to remove paint. Then blow dry so as not to explode when you put the torch to it! Good luck, let us know what happens!
  14. Just got mine and all I can say is wow! Well done(again)! Although they practice on a bunch of big stuff in this one, I just have to try and do things half the size and half as well for myself, and it's worth the money! Good job!
  15. Some have used automotive radiator hose cut to about 75mm but a reinforced hose is better.
  16. The new EPA, California approved John Deere mower, equipped with a catilitic converter!
  17. I must agree it is a fun bike to ride! Feels like a real bike should! The last one I rode(which may have gone to Ishy) was really good even before the start kit thing. I really could not get it to spit at me, no matter how I tried on my short ride, but you also have to keep in mind what you are riding. Suck it up when you open the throttle wide! Rocket !
  18. I ran the 45/125 setup on the last one! You will need to have a new intake air hose! PM Nigel Dabster to see if he still has an extra!

    2007 Sherco

As i happen to be old and slow, it usually takes me about four evenings in the garage to prep a new one, and as many sextuplets of my favorite ale! Removing and treating almost every accessable bolt and treating with the grease/anti sieze mix to prevent corrosion. That includes steering head and wheel bearings as well as the rear linkage. Coating the magneto and flywheel with clear laquer spray and breaking down the tires to add silecone or oil to the inside of the spoke nipples to prevent water entry and corrosion is optional. Then there is the removal of the wireing and installation of the kill button!(we do not run on roads or use the lights) Now if you want the front lamp to work, you must build a custom harness with a mini -switch! That should give you something to think about!
  20. I understand we will see more of the 4T Sherco's in '07. Lightest and most powerful of the 4T's out there! If you want a nice "06 2T at a great deal, I have one sitting here that has only been ridden a few times and is in not far from new condition. It belongs to an old retired guy. PM me!
  21. OMG! We can never again post piccies of Sammy either, as we would not want to set a bad example
  22. Biff, we usually use them to give GG riders instruction. There is a teenage kid up there named Patrick that can give you a few helpful pointers(on a 125) if you'ld like.
  23. Stevo, I'll give you 2K US, but you have to ride it HERE! Loverly!
