    X Games

Yea, we need a ramp like that at TTC! Jumping the car was not enough! I know a couple who would try it! What does it PAY!

    Brake Pads

Try cleaning the rotors and pads with an arisol "brake cleaner" from the auto supply! Wipe the rotors clean with it on a rag or towel! Sand the pads lightly! It will disburse any most any oily matter that may be the problem. Then get them good and hot and splash with water! Good luck!
  3. So if I were able to imagine this "imaginary line" thing, would it apply to both axles, as in the "floater" or "crossing your tracks" rules, or shall we now do something totally different again in the case of the "gates" such as was apparently applied to many at Hawkstone by fiving riders for protruding anything including your a*** between another set of markers based upon this line that does not exhist! Dan, in reference to the class designations, I would also like my recent post included as feedback for your proposal, in all fairness. Not that all would neccessarily understand the associated connotations with the "ABC" system, but it 's worth a shot! Gee, is an elaboration as good as an endorsement? Maybe I don't qualify?
  4. A good brief reporting from Dan on the STRA site link! It costs SOO much to do those sorts of improvments! But I suppose you could say all the profits were reinvested, and then some! That is a good thing too! The entire area benefits, hotels, food, supplies, and the fireworks store from Andy! Overall, an amazing job, specially considering the timeframe. Although I did not post it on the STRA site as I am not a member, in the request for comments, I did notice that there were a lot of comments from riders about the rider and minder loop access to the mid and upper end of sawmill. Apparently it got quite nasty in places just trying to get to the sections under the prevailing wet conditions(fairly normal for that time of year). I did witness a number of riders crash coming down the hill to our section. I thought for a second that I was going to have to go pick Laia up and drag her bike out(after i brushed off her bottom)!
  5. Glad to hear Dan still has plenty to do!
  6. He started it! Bet you can't take all uf us! Better yet, HANG HIM!
  7. OOOOOOOh! Me thinks hes peed about it!
  8. Hey Craig, hows about I just told you that I prefer to go WITHOUT, specially in this hot weather! We have a trials this weekend, come on down, it's supposed to be 101f! Don't need that nice sweat sucking underwear, that airy feeling of the sweat dripping off your scrotum between sections is JUST RIGHT! You gotta keep the boys cool or they will stroke out! Is THAT too much info! You Yankees just can't adjust!
  9. You ARE a bad boy!!!!!

    Sherco Oil

Careful, the 75/90 is hypoid gear oil and very thick! Not the one to use! Once again, this is a different standard than that used for motorcycle manual trans fluid(or MTF). To confuse matters further, I just looked at a quart of Maxima fork fluid. It says 85-150(5wt.sus-vi) on the label. If you have questions in your local, ask your dealer! If you are totally lost, use any good grade 10/30 automotive engine oil, it will work, the main permise being to change it regularly and keep it clean with no water entry! The current bikes say "Sherco recommenda IPONE"! I think it is pretty and blue!
  11. No US round for "07, ok , but did TTC at least make a buck? I'm sure Dan has had a chance to count all the beans by now! Realize, this is not important to me on a personal basis, but in the interist of US trials and WTC events it is an issue! The clubs and organizations that sponsor these events cannot do so at a loss and succeed! It just does not make sense! Roumors from prior years suggest that it was all done at a loss which could not be sustained! It costs TONS to put it on, not to mention the endless hours of volunteer work! I know the spectator attendence was down on Sunday in TN, it was evident! We simply do not have the 8000 in attendence like Hawkstone! I want and encourage those promotors to make money, it only makes it better for everyone! A simple red/ black response would do! A BIG BLACK would be a positive sign for all! So lets hear it!
  12. I guess that little move cost you, show off!
  13. Welcome ECT, hope you enjoy the challenge of trials, and the good folke that go with it! I believe I can honestly state that most clubs "software" consists of a thing called a "Bic and Pad", however there are many dedicated folke that may well post the club trial results quickly! It is all in the love of the sport! MC

    Sherco Oil

Clutches in a Gasser reportedly swell up and do funny things so they recommend the Dextron III i believe for that reason. In the Sherco I have never heard of this problem, although a 75 wt MTF is what is recommended. This viscosity is similar to a 30wt motor oil, but without some of the additives that are not designed for clutches. These viscosity ratings use a different standard which is somewhat confusing, but most racing oil manufactures make an acceptable product. Maxima is sold here by the importer. Sherco's at one time came with a sticker that said "Sherco recomenda Valvoline". I used Valvoline synthetic 10w30 for years with no problems at about 4-5 dollars per quart at the local auto parts store(2 oil changes @450cc each).
  15. Heathy to Alexz "Can I try your new underwear? I'm soo cold I'm perking up just like a little girl!"
  16. I must e-mail them to ask if they can help keep my chest from dropping!
  17. It would almost be worth the cost of a trip to the UK for that! That Spanish blood has FIRE in it! I thought we beat the Nazi's? Still a few around possibly?
  18. No problem, we were just looking for a response from you by then! OK, either he is there, or he is already peed!
  19. Seems the season has been riddled with bad luck, a point here, a clean there! Just watched the section 15 vid from Hawkstone, a five for WHAT? Even he had to go back and ck ! Was'nt there so cannot comment. Just bad luck! Separating him from the top in the series. Fuji has done amazingly this year! Hats off to him! GO for the 100 Doug!
  20. It's a totally different place now! Probably some great trials sections there! Just think if it were Really outback like NZ or something!
  21. I knew it! No scores today! Andy is totally **** faced! BrInG MoRe BeEr!
