Just to add:
Ck Coolant, it should be just above the radiator cores, no more as it needs expansion room.
If you have not lost any, that is good!
-
Al,
I'm goung to send via a friend who is going, you must provide your own teqilla (1bottle Quervo) and 1/2 bottle triple sec, per bag.
Cut everything in half for a gallon pitcher!
Sounds like the going price on that truck! YIKES!
-
Alan,
I had my guy pick up an extra bag of Cactus Juice mix on his recent jaunt down south to the border.
Let me know if you want it!

WOW Sting,
Im not sure I could GOOGLE all that!
I do know that you are a good int.(under current classifications) rider on a club level and regional level and should be able to compete in support class with little problems. not saying you would win a national but would be a good participant and not kill yourself.
Under the current proposals you would be considered "advanced" which would mean that you are qualified, which you have earned!
I think Ridge has a very good proposal that should be sent up to Dan and the others for rewiew.
I'm not sure that local champs or master's would be totally up to EX level in the nationals, but yet ES seems more apt as the local experts tend to do well in the age groups and such on Sportsman level.
Send It UP!

Heath,
Did you forget something?
The only NUMBER i see on your NUMBER PLATE is a #2
Do you blokes understand exactly what #2 IS!
Hint: do you have kids?
How does an observer know which line you are supposed to ride(unless he can spot that little number 2)?
ps- where are my stickers you were going to send?

Atom,
Most run close to stock I noticed in TN. And the bikes seem to come tuned for better torque than the Gassers. Some VHST carbs, slightly higher compression heads, slightly lightned flywheels for quicker response. Who was it with the added fuel pump?
On a 1.25 if you get crazy on one end of the power band you loose it on the other as a rule.
I think someone sells those pills you drop into the gas tank so they get better fuel economy!
Just how many of the "stones" did you say your 1.25 would need to carry?
-
In looking at my '05 as there should be no difference.
The lever should not be rotated so far forward in its nested position as to hit the bolt on the clutch cover.
The lever should just clear the frame on the other side and it may touch the muffler when it stops the swing in.
I have found that they normally need to "fly back" from the down position when kicking the bike so that it has enough energy to disengage the internal gear as it may be difficult to do by hand if you only partially depress the lever. So if you have it mounted too far forward it may hit that bolt and interfere.
Hope that helps!

All I can say is you dead beats that may be wavering on this one need to go!
Expert riders will have a good time i'm sure!
-
Clive, I have some special tires that have been dipped in Ishy's Barbeque sause too!
-
Clive is the Shhhhhiiiittttteee!
I help sponsor him, you know!
You need any boots, gloves or crying towels, let me know, Clive !

The BP5ES is standard, you do not need a resistor. Read my recent post on the 2.0 plug, same!
The resistor in the irridium plug may nullify the benifits, primarily the ability to open the gap as much as possible for better ignition in this relatively low output system.
The BP5EVX is the direct replacement for the "ES"(non resistor)! But go ahead and experiment and let us know how far you can take the gap on the "IX"!

Glad to see you guys having some fun! Can we pit Kip against Kurt now!

Al,
The last one I did, I used DC-4 compound(silecon paste) to lube the band and put a small glob over each spoke nipple before installing the band.
Theory being that the air pressure on the band will push the compound between the spokes, nipples and rim to displace moisture and prevent corrosion.
Minnor problem with the band being TOO slick, popping in easily with the fingers, but also popping out very easily along an edge section if you are not careful, causing a small leak, as the lube itself is not quite viscous enough to hold air. If it were only slightly more viscous it would be perfect!
I think the trick is getting the tire on and putting air on it before anything moves! Then all is well once it has settled a bit and has some pressure on it!
FYI only!

I will tell you that I have used one of the jitsie's for a bit and I really do not like it because ot is too difficult to fit primarily due to the thickness of the material around the sealing edge. The stock(black) Sherco unit seems to work well and even better than the twin-air units of the past. My 2 c!

Atom,
Dan seem almost always willing to help!
Now if there was someone in the UK willing to help out the Commo kid next year?
Well, nevermind!
-
Hummmmm,
We're not talkind about underwear sizes, single digits will do!
1-6 or A-F with a basic class N-A-M-E, for C-L-U-B structure O-N-L-Y !
The clubs are a ramp to the nationals, WTC and such. As in the UK it seems, nothing more.
Glad to here they are as bad as us in the class names and structure!
-
It is normally caused by disturbing the rim band during the tire change and if it has slipped out just a bit on the edge it will leak.
if the band and spokes area was cleaned or is clean, you may be able to break the bead with a c-clamp, reach in with fingers and reposition the band to seal and air it back up while still on the bike.
I just had to do mine the same way last week!

Once again the topic of Mich and the gay porn comes up!
Don't blame me, i'm just the messenger! I don't understand any of it!

Ron,
Ronnie got a kick for sure riding with those kids and learned a lot about how they practice. It's spelled TOUGH and TECHNICAL! I was with him, by chance ,watching these kids and encouraged him to get in there with them. I spotted him for a bit to get him started and then he knew what he had to do! Kind of like some light bulb came on! I left and told him to keep it up and he did,
as they were making me tired just watching! I'm not trying to blow my own horn here, that's just how it went down, ask him. He's a good kid and rider as well, which is important!
I'm just glad to hear he's working like he is, seems that is what it takes, but even better is that he seemed to enjoy the challenge!
Now, if he just had a better minder that was not fat and out of shape and could scramble over them rocks faster than the rider? My gosh can them guys go!
All joking aside, that can be an issue in itself, as unfortunatly it does seems that there comes a point in time when kids would rather listen to ANYONE BUT their parents. I have a 16yr old too! And that is another story. There is also a point when the teacher becomes the student! Ask Les Mizell!
In closing on this topic, I will say that Ronnie was possibly the only one that I saw that really participated and gained as much insight as he did! ONE BIG STEP!
I need a beer now!

What we need is a lot of 1.25's, get Cody and Patrick, Kieth and others to come along to stir the pot with Bruce and Brent, and let them get after it!
The thing about the 1.25's is that you REALLY have to work the bike, and I'm not neccessarily referring to the big stuff here, just the mid sized and technical stuff that took its toll on all the Experts.
The Euro kids simply had better endurance and control in the tough sections and would find grip where others could not!
All those sections are still there, tape or no tape, just waiting to be cleaned!
That's another thing, how many of our riders practice on sections like that?
-
I seem to recall Dan inviting all or most of the HS class riders out last year, giving them free room and board for the week, and a great time to get together and practice during the summer.
If the top 1.25 kids from europe were any example, this needs to happen here more often. Those kids really push each other in practice!
I think contributions would go a long way in helping convince Dan to do this again and I would not mind helping. I'm sure others feel the same way.
-
You have to do the vent hose mod and set the floats!

-
I'll have you some carbon swingarm guards done in a bit, with the Sherco name laser cut into them! PM me!
Nice cover, I LIKE!
