  1. It has been almost 24 hours since Mich said anyone sucked besides himself! Hey, Clive, who is this Doc guy? Does he suck too? He's too busy bashing Ringo to find out!
  2. They want their religion kept secret untill the event!
  3. I really do not understand what happened, but yesterday was an amazing day! First , I missed the local event on Saturday, due to work, that sucks cause I really wanted to ride a bit! So Sunday, I had lawn work to catch up on and a fence to repair. As it was about 99f here just after lunch time when I got into the truck to get supplies, I was soaked in sweat! And somewhat delerious! After returning home, I decided to jump on the bike for a quick spin if for nothing else but get some air moving, playing a bit on the slope in the back of the house and doing a couple of nose wheelies in the street, no harm and quiet for the neighbors. Still dripping sweat, I decided to ride the street curb about five inches wide from the neighbors house. Normally I suck at this! To my amazement, I rode it down the street and around the curve without a bobble! Probably 150 ft or so! This is cool! It was soo cool I tried it on the alleyway next to my house and did it again for about 100 ft to the end, hopped off with a 90 degree nosie, popped the front back up on the curb and rode it back the same plus made the corner at the end. I was so excited that I had to try it again tonight when I got home from work. Back to normal, could not go ten feet without falling off! God knows I stink, but does he give me hope?
  4. Although one or possibly two of the Texas clubs went "AMA" recently, again for insurance reasons. Unfortunatly, all I hear from most is the AMA is more concerned about getting their money than with the promotion of trials. Seems sad, especially for the small clubs! Sue happy lawyers suck !
  5. Some call it "paying the bills"!
  6. Craig, your right about Clive for sure. It is not just about winning, but ATTITUDE! Anyone that calls Mich a liar that many times and then tells his pants are on fire has the RIGHT STUFF! So Clive , you get a free practice bike as part of your sponsorship! You can ride mine as much as you want the day before an event, if I happen to be there of course! You'll be glad to get back on your new one I'm sure, but WTH! It's the thought that counts!
  7. When we get enough of that Viagra laced RedBull down him, Clive thinks he's a teenager again! Makes his trip worthwile!
  8. What happened Atom? Did you try to keep up with Craig (COOLER) G.?
  9. As his timing is impeccable with his survey shortly after most anyone interested in trials just witnessed the majority of National Class Expert riders get their a-ss-es kicked by a bunch of kids on 1.25's, looks like Dman is going back to school early! We may let you ride a real motorcycle when you are old enough to vote! Don't be scared, it's kinda like going to the SR prom with a girl in braces, does'nt stop her from doing the job! Heck, I still keep my 1.25 handy just to remind me of my youth! And manage to kick some butt on it from time to time! All you need is some of them Quehoney? pills son! Mabe Ronnie Commo will share some with you if you ask nicely! Go Texas! We don't care, we just ride it!

    Ron

Ain't gonna happen, Ron is a tightwad, too, like me! I would pay that tenner to see Mich actually attempt the Pro line though! Ron and I would catch you! I promise! How's you shoulder doing Ron, mine sucks!
  11. Thoughts on recent comments! I have to do this quickly as my memory is good, but short! 1- Brian, were talking strictly "club" level standard classes. 2- Alan, I think your descriptions are a knotch too high, but that is another topic, sort of. 3- Once again, MotoMax just advocated the six class system, although they are not currently using the top class, but that is OK, the naming is still consistant in the other 5. Relativity, For example, one of our top expert class riders here on a local and state level recently rode the 45 class I think it was, in Tish. He had a 14 pt day which is pretty darn good. "Kicked back" Curt Comer waxed everyone with 2pts and then there was a reasonable spread with our guy coming in 6th place. Curt is an old pro though, and could ride up a class if he wanted, with no problem! Point being, a Good local expert should typically do well in National support class. A Good "advanced " rider may have a tough day but survives, and a poor one may not make it through a National, or may just have a bad day with a lot of work! Our FEW top level riders here (master class in Texas) can ride the ES line, and are primarily in the HS class which is very competitive. They may be able to ride the EX line in the Nationals, but may struggle on the bigger stuff in the National Expert class. A look at Ronnie Commo's scores against such as Peters and Fox shows the spread, and Ronnie can ride with the best of HS class. Don't get me wrong here as Ronnie C. is intentionally stretching his abilities, which is good! Remember, we still have to add a few splits or gates to keep a top national expert or pro happy! That is when we really start chunking the ribbin on a rock! Seem so far most agree with: 1 Champ or Master 2 Expert 3 Advanced 4 Sporstman or Int. 5 Int., Sportsman, Clubman 6 Novice I need a beer now!
  12. MotoMax, thanks for the great input as that is what we are looking for here!

    Both considered normal!
  17. Could not help but read your post, lots of good work! I think it just goes to show that a small Honda bottom end with a 200 top would work well, especially with a hydro clutch, modern mono frame and disk brakes, Kondy on steroids! When will some enterprising young Korean build one for sale at an entry level price?

    Ron

    Mich., su nombre es pendejo!
  19. Nothing personal Barcota, just kind of seemed like something he might say. Tell him hello from Texas as I did not see him at Tenn. Carl and I have a lot in common--sometimes! Tell us about your class structure, please! MC
  20. Update, the VX plug seems to be factory set at .6mm or .0275in. using my trusty Auto Zone gapping disk. Seems to work fine at this setting with good starting and a seemingly better low speed response. Maybe my imagination, not sure.

Any reports of interist from owners of the new models? Specially from those who owned prior years. Likes/ dislikes?
  22. There actually seems to be quite a few support class riders that really do not do much anything too flashy, but manage quite well! I still thing Jerry Young may be my hero!
