All things considered, it could not have been much better! A little rain and the lightning shows provided evening evening entertainment along with the band!
But the Awesome scenery along the creek at sections 6 and 7 will take your breath away better than the Cactus Juice!
I just need to bring a cot next time so I can crash in the woods!
-
The hot ticket is the BP5EVX platinum plug! But you cannot get them here! Ha!
Seems I only have one left for sale to the highest bidder!
-
That ones not mine Clive, yet!
Sherco blue w/ black trim, that will work!
-
-
Geoff "ok, you kids need to turn the little wire thingie to the right"!
Good job Cody!
-
So there we were shooting a Red Bull when someone started screaming "Doug, get back to work!"
Are you sure about that Ringo?
-
I have not been to Donner, but Jon Stoodley once said to me that the Tishamingo OK site reminded him of it.
It would never surprize me to see those crazy Okies put on a WTC event!
-
I think Ish is getting testy, Craig!
-
Nigel, NO WAY!
Maybe after he gets a few championships under his belt he could come here to try and make a living, like Tommi A. But not untill then and only then! There is still a huge gap in the levels of riding the big stuff! Risky business!
-
I knew someone would start this cra--p! Why not do a little bashing on the Pro class too, Mich? They were all busy getting the sh--t kicked out of themselves too, by a bunch of kids! Cody rides smart and came out on top of the US kids, youth has its advantages!
This was a very tough event and took its toll on many, the average US expert rider did good to finish! No wonder the Sans girl broke down!(I wish I could get her to scream at me that way! Just for a little while! That hot blooded little Spanish temper could be fun!)
In adding to AtomAnts comments, two things come to mind:
1- Lack of conditioning by the US riders, as it is difficult to stay "on top" of the bike when you are exhausted!
2- The 125's would find grip when the big bikes would not! Same with the Juniors as they are soo good on the clutch in the slick stuff! That is a lesson to be learned by many!
-
I think Ishy has the a--ss cause he cannot go!
-
They call it the RIGHT side for a reason Clark!
-
MichLin on wheels! What a thought!
SNAKES!
Who cares about Snakes?

First you cock it, then you lock it!
45 ACP Model 1911 A1 operators manual at my side at all times! For reference only!
Good thing she is not going!

10mm short,5mm down,10mm back, may make a difference if you make a living hopping and doing pivot turns!
For ME? I like the red spring!

The Cummins 600 Powered Turbo Diesel Bug Smashing Machine(C6PTDBSM) is near ready for the trip to TTC!
I tossed the mud clods from the floor mats and gave it it's semi-annual bath, cleaned the windshield on the outside part too! Fresh oil change and filters and air in the tires!
I will throw enough bike and junk in it tomorrow to make it through several days of riding, drinking and fun standing in sections 750 miles away!
20+ mpg @125kph cruise(sounds better that way)! That gives a Maximum Effective Range of over 600nm with a reserve of 2liters of Mexican Cactus Juice. And a new relief tube installed for those long trips on short bladders! (Hope you're not the one behind be!) Yea, really Al, I gotta show you this!
All I need now is a few hundred bucks worth of #2 diesel to propel this missle towards Tennessee and back in total air conditioned luxury and comfort!
You guys stuck on that island have no idea what you are missing!
-
For those who did'nt get it the first time around:
Wear long pants and long sleves, ride and walk sections with your gloves on, Be sure to take them off before finding a tree to hide behind!
-
Try changing the sparkie and see if it helps.
-
Another GREAT showing! Congrats to all!
Wonder if Mr. J ever reads this stuff?
-
ILoveTrials,
Are you saying it is Smoother than the round slide in the Lows, or just more powerful?
-
Congrats Brian, hope all are well, will keep you in our thoughts and prayers!
-
Yea, I know,
THIS, from a guy that uses very expensive Snap-on sockets to install bearings?
Remember, I said it was only about a bucks worth ov PVC, of course with current prices? Can you knock that rubber off the old seals with a grinder the same way I trim down OLD timkin cups to use as installers? Of course you can! They don't stick as much that way!
Ha!
Remind me sometime to tell you about that little Russian made tapered bearing at the bottom of the steering stem! OMG!
I need a beer now! Got to go! Wayne is probably in spasms by now!
CHEERS!

Charlie,
I know this it tough, but what Alan is trying to say here is "go spend a dollar and buy a piece ov PVC pipe to use as a driver", it works!
So do those SEAL SAVERS, keeps the crud out so you don't have to jack with them in the first place. I think the 1 3/4 size are the ones for trials at www.sealsavers.com. or Lewisport. They even come in colors. The more expenseve DELAY ones work too and cover the entire tube.
I have had no seal problems on my '01,'03,'05 bikes, but the wifes little '02 1.25 has the longest track record.

Is that the standard 5mm spacer off the 2.9 or different?
