Cant answer your question on size sorry...but, I get all my bearings for my bikes from a bearing dealer. They are half the price(at least) and sometimes you can get better quality bearings.
That makes perfect sense...even with the cool sounding words.
Another problem I keep seeing with braces is the possibility of a broken femur. I know it can happen brace on or off though. Theres a study in the works right now on this subject.
I know for myself...unless I have a miraculous surgery and recovery, my knee feels very unstable. I dont feel as though I could ride without one. My Doc feels confident that I will be able to. I hope he is right.
I am right in the middle of having my knee repaired. One surgery down and one to go(hopefully) I had what my Dr called a "catastrophic" injury to my knee. I tore my ACL,MCL and Meniscus.
Since my injury I have been looking into knee braces for when I get back into riding.. Some of the best Doc's have mixed feeling about them. Even MX Doc's.
On Tumpertalk there is quite a bit of discssion about this. Dr.Mark seems to be very much against them. This IMO doesnt mean he is corrcet but its his opinion.
Check out the forum and do a search for Knee Brace and see what pops up. Its interesting.

Heres my list of mods.....some apply to both bikes.
Body-I cut off some of the plastic that interferes with the bikes turning. You will see when you go lock to lock the forks hit the plastic. By cutting the plastic you get another inch of movement. For a lock stop I simply place a Zip Tie. Also I don
Not really sure...I believe the original was to exclude dirtbikes all together but they got lumped in. Also in the original there was language that provided a law for environmental police officers parameters on whether a private trail system was allowable to bu used by dirtbikes and atv's....apparently those parameters were so strict it would make all private systems illegal for use.
My beliefe was that this was to be a state law on age limits...therefore even riding on private systems would bu sugbject.
Also...I stated that this was a "Dead Issue". Thats a very poor choice of words on my part...this will never be a "dead issue" for us.
Check this video out. This is what kept dirtbikes from being lumped in with ATV's. Its a great video!
This issue is dead for now. The motion was heavily ameded in favor of dirtbikes...yet left language in place to enforce fines for ATV violations. It also put in place verbage that would restrict a child under the age of 14 from riding a ATV....maybe a snowmobile too. For those that dont know Mass recognizes ATV's as 3 or 4 wheeled vehicles. I believe it was table until 2010.
It was a win for dirtbike riders. Now the quad and snowmobile groups are enbattled with the lawmakers.
IMO yes...They would be ok if used on the street at the slowest setting. Even then turning will be sketchy. Look through the other posts about this. I posted a link where I only paid about $35 USD for a pair of saddle trainers
This is what I was thinking also. I think a lot of people have the mentality, myself included, that theres no replacement for displacement. I bought a sweet Sherco 2.9 and spent a lot of time and a little money making it less powerful. Once I did that it was great.
My next bike is either going to be a 200cc class bike or a Rev 4.
Thats very helpful. My 4 yo is a sit/sometime stands rider. Though pretty capable. He rides an OSET and I truly believe that bike has given him a great start in trials.I wnat to head down for the youth camp next year and I figured if possible put him in the sections at the nationals if he wants.
