They are just being diligent and watching their carbs......Get it
I have yet to clean my carb(this year). Though I make up for it with cleaning the airfilter everyride and running good gas.
Is it the fuel you get in the UK?
-
Time to change that and get a bike....and make Pat type a bit!
Congrats!!!

Huh? Something must have been left out crossing the Atlantic.
Edit:Read it a second time and got a good chuckle out of it.

Ridgrunr,
I think your being too picky. Every bike made today has its pro's and con's. Just find the one that suits you best and the one you feel comfortable on and get it. Its going to break and you will need to fix something eventuallythats a given. My Sherco's been great. Not perfect but no more maintenance than any bike i have had in the past. I have freinds who ride GG's and Beta's that say the same thing.
Good luck!

Personally, I am not a fan of Team Tactics within motorsports with the exception of events like Trials of Nation,MX of Nations,ISDE etc....

Then why the unproffesional and not to mention dangerous act of ghostriding the bike 10+ feet in the air. Why not hop up on those tires with Taddy and celebrate together since he just won the Enduro-X title which is what he set out to do.
I always thought Knight was a great competitor. He has always carried himself very proffesionally in the past. I was as shocked as anyone to hear that he did this, definately out of character. It actually bummed me out to lose respect for him, though as we found out a week ago he is human and not perfect.
I am costantly doing things I regret, but I am not on the world stage with everyone watching. Also, at my job if I did something that was equally as dangerous and unproffesional as what he did I would get fired. Im not saying he should lose his deal with KTM but theres no excuse for his actions. That said, I think what he posted on his forum was very proffesional and it looked like he did not blame Taddy one bit.

I would feel like an idiot who should have went faster.

It was an unwritten rule until 1951 until 22ndamendment was enacted. FDR served 3 times because of the Great Depression. I dont know...maybe the country could not afford to have an election. This thread is turning into a history lesson.
Amendment XXII:
Section 1. No person shall be elected to the office of the President more than twice, and no person who has held the office of President, or acted as President, for more than two years of a term to which some other person was elected President shall be elected to the office of the President more than once. But this article shall not apply to any person holding the office of President when this article was proposed by the Congress, and shall not prevent any person who may be holding the office of President, or acting as President, during the term within which this article becomes operative from holding the office of President or acting as President during the remainder of such term.
Section 2. This article shall be inoperative unless it shall have been ratified as an amendment to the Constitution by the legislatures of three-fourths of the several states within seven years from the date of its submission to the states by the Congress.

Try bending your knees more and bow them out...as if you just rode a horse for a distance. Also keep your feet out on the outer part of the pegs. My positioning on a trials bike used to be awful and my riding suffered. I took a class and once my body positioning was corrected my riding improved. Though, I must say at 1st my quads and ankles really hurt riding this way. Once I built up those muscles I had no problems.

Heres the 83 KICKSTART .
I love these vintage videos.

In the US our presidents are limited to 2 terms(8 years). They cannot seek election for a 3rd. So Bush is done. If he was able to run again IMO he would still be done.
In Austrailia is the Prime Minister elected by the people or is he/she acting as a rep of the majority of the senate? Sorry if thats a dumb question.

I have ridden with Dr.Hud a few times. He's got the balls to do it for sure. Hows your suspension set Tony? is it too soft?
-
Thats a great article. Seems kinda funny that, trials is getting more mainstream motorcycle press in Enduro-X than at an NATC event.
Its nice to see Taddy get some great press, though I lost a lot of respect for Knight.

Wow...Its cool to have you here. Following the advice you have already been given will be a great start. One I would like to add is Motosoup Classifieds.
For what you are looking to spend you should be able to get an 05/06 in good shape. The good thing is these bikes dont really get the beating that conventional bikes do, but they can certainly take it. Im just a novice at trials and after a year of competing my bike still looks new(ish).
I wished I had started trials a long time ago. It would have made my offroad riding much better. A talented guy like you would have no problem getting the basics down and would probably translate well into your riding.
BTW...any chance you'll be doing the LMS?
Keep up the good work! You'll get the title back next year.

Seeing Taddy do that flip turn must have been amazing on the big KTM. Sounds like the guy may have some potential in the WEC. Anyone seen any vids out there yet of the finals? I have looked with no luck yet.

Last year was great...we only had a few big storms. Pretty much rode all year. I can say one thing for sure.....a little snow and ice really teaches you how to slip the clutch.
-
No events in the area at that time.....Check your PM's.

I dont use chain lube. I use one of those Moose clip on chain scrubbers with WD40. They work great for getting muck off. The WD40 leaves a nice film of rust protectant.
-
I run an O-Ring chain. It definately takes a little power away but thats part of the reason I use it. It smooths out the hit on my 06 Sherco 2.9. I must say though its been on the bike for 2 seasons and it will stay on for the start of next year. No wear on the chain or the sprockets. I do clean them though quite often.
