  1. Ouch sounds sore mate - hope you get better soon! I'm just about to get back on my bike aswell, broke my collar bone in March getting ready for the 6 days, 11 weeks later done it again.... I feel like i've forgotten how to ride!!
  2. 15 sections on a grassy hill, covered in snow! Should be a laugh
  3. Going back to having to virtually knock riders off to take marks is true, however there is another way. Keep with me if you can... Why not reduce the grip levels so the sections can be eased in severity, so instead of BIG crashes that are causing harm ( ok not quite spectacular ) have slightly easier sections that will hopefully attract more people into WTC and make it more competative. Reduce the width of the rear tyre for example so not as much grip can be purchased is one idea? Maybe some will agree, others not - just my tupence-worth!

  5. I use Hebo's aswell, had a good few pairs but found that even the "waterproof" ones are most definatly not. Solved the problem with a pair of seal skinz. Every rider should have a pair!!
  6. If the bike is standard and your keeping it that way it is best to leave all the restrictors in place.
  7. Its roughly 500ml, best to use Silkolene pro cool, no need to dilute - just pour sytraight in. 1 litre costs about
  8. Oh it makes a beautiful wonderful rasp that will probably get all trials banned across britain but the noise is incredible!!!!
  9. I agree, when starting from cold leave the throttle and let the bike warm up itself untill the fan comes on then you can ride off hassle free!
  10. You can actually take the casing off without removing the sump plate. I seen the sandifords boys doing it at the ssdt. Remove front and rear bolts on the left hand side and slacken the bolts on the right a few threads. Then use a screwdrivers to lever the sump plate down from the crankcase and hey presto - you can pull off your cover! Its best doing this when the bike is lying flat on the ground on its right hand side! Just another option, i've battle with ratchet straps in the past but find using the mitani 6mm plate and this method its a doddle!!
  11. you can get long wheel base vivaros but i feel they dont like much abuse unlike transits MWB Transit everytime!
  12. I was speaking to dibs at the lampkin training school, TRW are being swamped with enquiry's about the rear silencer and are preparing to sell it. Price in the region on

    4rt Flame Trap

The jitsie air filter for the 4rt comes complete with a flame arrestor ie there is no need to fit the mesh! The mesh is only required with the standard filter!
  14. If this is defo the new repsol.....i am aroused. ooooooooooooo baby!!!
  15. Joking aside gents, if you have a close look and do your figures, you can buy this "blinged" up baby for a tad under 4K, ok you will have shipping cost etc but when you consider it has the HRC 260 kit and all the other little trick bits like the plastics etc, it could work out quite well and have something completly different to whats doing the rounds just now! Has anyone heard anything of the new 08 4RT? is it a case of BNG??
  16. C'mon, you ride trials and you dont know what a "King of connected monkey steering wheel handle is"??
  17. WOW, I never realised what i have been doing wrong all these years....... I'm going to cover myself in nivea products before the trial this weekend. You get my vote buddy!
  18. HRC 260 kit is on the market as well, come with 2 stage throttle body, cam atc. I have only seen this one but i really does make a difference, more power torque etc. 260 kit is
  19. 5mm didn't cut it for me, it has to be the 6mm Mitani one, have a look on the web, most dealers can get them in. It has the extra lenth at the back to protect the linkages and a nice blingie red mitani sticker on the side. About
  20. I'm not the greatest fan of Gasgaseseses but the raga rep does catch my eye, yeh you can buy a 07 TXT for less and trick it up but....the raga only cost an extra (approx)

    4rt 2 Stage Mapping

I personally think its a great idea! My preferance is to run a soft map for slippy/70% of sections and the "standard" map for the rest, steps/big hill climbs. You can go the other way though ie pick a map that you are happy with for the majority of riding with a softer one for slippy days. It's best to decide how you want to use it, there is an advantage to be had, just dont get caught up in sections on.."first gear ok...which map??" Its best to have a good clear differance in the mapping.
  24. Sure is John, how did your test ride go?
