  1. to make a guess its just an air bubble in the line
  2. Please post a download of the the 1st round indoor.
  3. Some of us just like to clean a little to much, I'm not famous for cleaning, I would rather ride. My wife bought my last bike and said I had to wash it after every ride. So no cleaning isn't all its made out to be. I think a good cleaning with a garden hose gets the dust out and off of brakes, forks and bearings and you look better snaping out your flip turns.
  4. Did I read somewhere that Bou will be on GasGas, if so he will be 3rd indoor and out. Raga 1st outdoor Cabestany 1st indoor, 2nd indoor Raga, 2nd outdoor Fugi. But Dougi can beat them all.
  5. I have an IRC right now, but if I'm buying its Michelin for me mud or rocks.
  6. I think the 05' has bigger 40mm forks and yes they are pretty good, but your are good also . First you need to change the oil 5w or atf( its about 7w) and it needs to be filled to the exact specks(I don't know them off hand)if the oil level is to low they will be spongy. The adjustment knobs should be in the middle after an oil change, then start from there. Pertol try this link.http://www.gasgas.com/Pages/Technical/trials-suspension-tips.html
  7. I would put the clip back to where it was and look for something simple, like new plug, bad gas, clogged air filter, clogged fuel filter, bad cap on the coil. Tell us what it sounds like, is it wuah, ning, wuah, ning or more like potato, potato oh wait thats a Harley
  8. I don't know about the NZI but what I like about my HEBO you can take the lining out and wash the smelly thing.

    Rear Shock

I would ride the bike 30 min. and let the shock warm up, take it off some 2ft. drops and see were its at, before you adjust anything. As far as the shock not needing adjusted, thats like saying wet paint don't touch.
  10. I think to switch Texas and Kansas would be an improvment.
  11. We ride loops because thats the way it has always been. Plunker is just trying to come up with some new ideas and thats good. I like a loop myself I ride better than in a group, but the last event I rode in Ark. we rode in a group and all the spectators followed, it took all day, but it was a blast.

Steam ,GasGas has a very good point. Start from the beginning did you buy the bike from someone in your area, look at your plug is it grey or oily. You might start with some jetting changes. But first thing is look at your plug.
  13. I don't know about the Montesa but I used ATF for years in the old GasGas bikes but you do need to change fluid more often, my Fantic 305 had to have a good 30 weight oil. If they recommend a certain type always use that first. Most bikes need to be warmed up put your hand on the exhaust and when it puts out warm air you can go play.
  14. Well this didn't happen trialing, but my cousin broke his frame,so we took it to the locale blacksmith and he fixed it allright he welded the throttle cable to the frame. well it wouldn't start so we push started it, and it took of screaming thru town wide open. The bike was junk no brakes and no kill switch. When I got to him he was shaking, he had to pull the plug to kill the motor. Funny to me not to him.

Before you do all that replace the starter jet in the carb its not giving you enough fuel. When you take apart the carb there is a long jet sticking out with an o-ring on the bottom of it, thats your starter jet. You need a bigger one. I had a bike for 2 years and fought with this problem, replaced it before I sold it and it fixed it. Made me made just a little.
  16. Just a dumb ? since I don't own a Beta, but can you drill and tap for a bigger bolt?
  17. First off not all American's are clean alot of us groom the sections but for the most part we don't take buckets on the loop to clean the rocks with water like the top riders did in Tenn. this year. What ever they can get away with they will. If we the US had a #3 rider he would do much of the same, but we don't so this whole tread needs to be deleted and start again.
  18. I would go to a local event, Munster has a club and Ravia Okla. has a club and both have dealers that would let you ride anything you might want. Don't buy before you ride all of them. I would suggest a good used 2 stroke Montesa.
