    Footrests

    hi guys, just gone a big pi** baller off the bike on a long jump the rear of the right hand footrest parted company with the centre section and i now have a massive burn on the inside of my left leg from the back tyre and damn does it hurt. just wondering what type of footrests all you triallers are using as i am now going to get some new ones as i no longer trust the standard sherco ones . many Thanks big-ian.

    Thanks guys for the replys,it`s a bit of a job to find anywhere but i`m trying to get hold of a phone number for a guy out aymestry direction by wigmore where it is rumoured there is quite a good practice area for only a fiver a day. as soon as i know anything i`ll put up a post with the details. many Thanks big-ian.

    hi there, one of my friends has just bought a 07 sy250f longride,on a recent trial he stalled the bike twice and had a great deal of trouble re-starting the bike, until he turned the fuel off kicked it over a few times then turned fuel back on then kicked it until it started. is this normal for a 4stroke or is the something wrong with the carb set up. many thnx. ian.

    Thanks but a lot of the nipples are rusty and the few that are broken are as a result of trying to tighten them as they were loose, i`ve soaked them in various different lubricants etc and have not suceeded to loosen them off,that is why i am going down the root of getting them all replaced so as not to have this problem in the future, your thoughts on this would greatly be appreciated. many Thanks ian.

    Thanks . where`s the best mail order place to buy cause i m not handy to any local shops and have limited time to travel to get them,also what do you think is the best 2t oil,silkolene?

    what in your opinion is the best 2 stroke oil and the best configuration of sprockets for the 290 sherco . i want to keep it very low geared. 9t front 44t rear perhaps? has every body had a lovely yuletide season?

    Sherco Throttle

    hi all is there any way of retarding the throttle on my 290 as my son has just started to use it and he`s a bit throttle happy and gets in some right pickles and is gonna hurt himself badly if something isn`t done about shortly. would sizing up the front sprocket and down sizing the back really make that much difference. thoughts on this most welcome.

    hi there i`m new to to the trials world and just wondered if upon starting my sherco was it normal for the clutch to be engaged with the lever back to the bar? if so why? i rode motox bikes for 3 years and never had this problem once.
