I just purchased the 2023 Gas Gas 250 GP. Everything about this machine is better than my 2014 Sherco. The suspension has more jump, everything is smother, I can go slow without locking up the brakes. This seems lighter. I even have started to feel my splatter timing and jump might be working. I am super hoping service and parts will be easier to get a hold of. The shop I purchased it from told me that he had to sell one or two along with all the other KTM and Husky motorcycles. My only issue after putting 20 miles on it yesterday is starting. You have to work the kick lever until it's at the very top to get the compression right and you kick real hard, nothing. Warm or cold it was really frustrating. I found a site those guys said lay it down, so the carb is slightly flooded, or pump the lever a few times to move the gas, kick it from the top. The manual says no throttle. Most times I kicked 10 plus times stopped and cussed, 10 more times, IDK after resting some it would start. I might have been flooding it. One writer said starting Gas Gas bikes is a right of passage and when you figure it out or after brake in more they crank right up. Two times it cranked right up first or second kick. Once running I was a happy camper. It never stalled. I'm not a very good rider but super enjoyed this and have no regrets buying it.
