  1. The WTC do not normally comment on abstract forums - However, as a director of the WTC I should mention that we have no President - only volunteers who work to promote trials . - Everybody works to help the family aspect of trials at the lowest cost possible - Nobody gets paid.. and BTW we are NOT changing our name. I will not respond to any hate replies on this forum.
  2. The WTC ( World Trials Canada) Championship West - will go on September 3-4th in Revelstoke BC - This venue is a mecca for Off road sports, both winter and Summer and the recently formed Revy Riders club, have jumped on board the Trials train by hosting a round of the Championship Series once again. for 2016, - The location is ideal, with all sorts of natural terrain, which happens to be close to lots of hotels. motels that cater to the tourists. - for more info: www.trialscanada.com.
  3. Get in touch with the local club riders - they will teach you the ropes. - Check out the Trials Canada website for more information.
  4. The Outlaw Trial went well with a good turn out of riders, in spite of a very wet forecast - which was "Dead on" for the Sunday Modern, but luckily stayed sunny & dry for the Saturday Vintage, followed by the kids evening event on the little electric bikes. Brandon Wince (Beta) took the Expert win on Sunday, ahead of Sam King and Sean Bird who tied for 2nd - (Sam got the verdict on cleans) - We had riders from all over BC and Alberta. Next Round of the Series goes next month in Rocky Mountain House Alberta.
  5. The 29th running of the Outlaw Trial, takes place this weekend at Scotch Creek. BC - hosted by the Shuswap riders, and sanctioned by the WTC ( World Trials Canada) - There are classes for Vintage and Kids on Saturday, followed by the Modern bikes on Sunday. - Free camping on site.
  6. As posted by Cascade - for Info on Canadian Trials, click on to Trials Canada and follow the links - this should help you find information on events North of the border.
  7. New details of Round #1 of the Outlaw Series - This will be hosted by the Vancouver CPTA Club on April 17th.2016

( No calendars out yet dates may change with the calendar year ) May 24/25 Outlaw Trial at Scotch Creek May 24/25 WTC Eastern Canadian Championship - Quebec June 29/30 WTC Western Canadian Championship Revelstoke BC July 15th ATRA Outlaw Trial Rocky Mountain House Alberta September 4/5 Ymir BC ( Outlaw Series) October 22 OK Falls Ady Brown Memorial Some events could be added as schedules are finalized
  10. The annual Adrian Brown memorial Trial, was held in OK Falls BC on October 18th - Adrian was a popular member of the Trials group in the Okanagan Valley, and had a wonderful sense of humor. - Unfortunately we lost him way to soon to Cancer at age 50 when this was discovered on a visit to his London UK home in 2001. - His local club in the UK was the Bognor Regis and this year, his parents sent out a special plaque to display at this yearly event which is all about raising money for Cancer research. We are happy to report that we collected $890.00 for this worthy cause, but more importantly we shared a lot of good memories of Adrian around the camp fire.

    300 4T

Hi Heffergm - I find the Beta Evo 4T really easy to kick over, and they start usually first or second kick, hot or cold.
  12. Motul coolant is red and recommended by the factory - I'm guessing that is what was in the bike.
  13. Steve you can post what you want - but you are only harming the sport, and making yourself look silly, which is unfortunate. - To say that none of the top riders in Canada will attend our event in Scotch Creek is absolute nonsense - Brandon Wince is unable to ride as he is working in Alaska, and will not get back until after the Trial., but Tino Marin and Sam King will be there, plus Stan Bakgaard and Steve Day etc- all top Experts. - We do recognize that some riders will be going to the PNTA Trial in Washington State, because they are going for points. - Sometimes dates conflict - We wish them well.
  14. The WTC (World Trials Canada) Western Championship Trial, will go this weekend at the Scotch Creek location, in British Columbia - The venue offers a wide variety of terrain, with a long loop on private land, overlooking the beautiful Shuswap lake. - The large camp-site can cater to all sizes of vehicles, including 45 ft Motor homes. - With riders expected from all over Western Canada, it promises to be a very hot weekend with temperatures forecast in the +36 degree range. - However, with the close proximity of the Lake many will no doubt take time to cool off after the event, which takes in both Saturday and Sunday. - Spanish rider Tino Marin and Australian Sam King will head up the Expert Class, but will no doubt face some fierce competition from the West Coast riders.
