Check rear engine mount bolt - careful when tightening as this is alloy. Also check that the silent bloc rubber on the muffler to the frame is not broken.

In Canada we use a product called "Crazy-glue" - works every time
-
And a "HELL" of a lot has changed since I put on the very first one in Canada in 1975. !!!

Check with Beta USA - They are the Importer for both Trials and Enduro bikes
-
You could contact Steve Saunders - he has some frame guards, also try riding with your foot farther out on the peg, as this has not been an issue.

I wear the same helmet - had it for probably 5-6 years now, it's still fine. ( no crashes)

Hi Liviob - We sell lots of Betas and one thing that we did have happen on a couple of 09 Evo 290's was the float valve was sticking, causing the engine to flood - we cured this by fitting a new valve. - The float level is critical on this carb, and you can see how to adjust it by clicking on the Beta UK website.
We also take our bikes up into the 7,000ft altitude and they do not require any adjustments.
Best Regards

The second running of the Ady Memorial Trial is now in the history books - We had a great turn out of riders, considering that it was Thanks-giving weekend - There were 11 from Alberta ( a ten hour drive) and 19 from BC.- The weather was almost perfect, and everybody had fun on the long loop which featured 20 sections. The results and pictures can be seen on www.outlawtrials.com

Memories indeed Billy - I like that old saying - "The older I get - the faster I was" - I still like watching the old videos when Jordi was king. - Big Trial at Summerland this weekend, but I fear you are a long way from BC.
-
Billy You and Jordi had something in common back then - YOU BOTH HAD HAIR

One of the things we tell our customers is don't make any adjustments on a new bike, until the forks have had a chance to "Bed in"
this can take as long as 3-4 hours depending on the model. - failure to do this by cranking up the compression can lead to blown fork seals. Outlaw Dave

Welcome to the Feet Up world Trav !! - Lots of good people in the East to help you out - check with Neil Carter or Jon English for leads on a good used Trials bike.
