Jarvis was in Canada this week and won the Xtinction Cross Country race in Alberta - he finished 5 mins ahead of American rider Mike Brown.

The final results of the WTC Canadian Trials Championship are now up on Trials Canada, and show that the series was once again very successful with a good turn out of riders at all 4 events. - Congratulations to Jon English, who won the Champ class. and not just by

I'm a long way away over the other side of the pond, but this seems like a bit of a farce - We need rules to control the sport, but they should not be influenced or biased towards any one country.
-
The first two rounds of the 2011 WTC Canadian Trials Championship, were held in Summerland BC this past weekend with 58 riders on Saturday and 48 on Sunday. - The long ( for Canada) loop and natural sections took points from all classes with Will Duggan winning the Champ Class on Day one ahead of John English and Thomas Cordner - Ex UK rider Steve Foord grabbed 4th after fixing a puncture and getting caught out by a late shower of rain that made the rocky sections very slippery.
Sunday was another close battle at the top, with Thomas Cordner winning and Jon English another fine 2nd place, third on the day went to Kelowna rider Brandon Wince. - The next two rounds of the Series will take place in July at a location in Quebec. - More details and pictures can be seen by clicking on either Trials Canada, or Outlawtrials.com

And if you really want a thrill, come to the WTC National Trial this weekend in Summerland BC

Tranny holds 500cc - but refill with 460 as you can never get it all out - use a good quality gear oil - we use 10w40 Opti 4 in Canada

Wow ! - Fantastic pics thanks for posting - the studs tend to be a bit hard on expensive trials tires, but that must have been quite a trip.
-
I can only echo those comments from this side of the pond - In a weird twist that saw our John Dearie finish ahead of Dougie Lampkin in the results because of Doug's misfortune, and a dramatic finish for Wiggy on Town Hall Brae - The pics were brilliant - I laughed when I saw the one of John laying down on the rocks the first day - looked like he was sun bathing - and the one from today showing our Guy Smeeth going over the bars - but congrats to everybody - the updates kept us in touch all week. - wish we could be at the party tonight.
-
The first two rounds of the WTC National Trials Series are now only two weeks away, in Summerland BC.
Work has been going on for sometime preparing the course for the event, and pictures of some of the sections can be seen
on the www.outlawtrials.com gallery - further details can be obtained by emailing - daverhodes@shaw.ca

Hey John - Thanks so much for posting - great to watch - I see our 3 "Cannucks" are still going at the tail end of the field.
-
Thanks for posting - bikes sound fantastic
-
Thanks for helping out Guy Smeeth -Andy - wish we could be up at the Fort next week, but will just have to click on the site every day for the latest news. - There are two other "Cannucks" riding - John Dearie (a native Scot) and Jonothan English - Dearie is entered as #5 and Smeeth is #6 - while Jon starts farther back.
Dearie is a friend of Ian Shedden, who is loaning him bike and they start at the front with Neil Dawson.

Guy forgot to mention that he's flying in from Canada

Check with Mountain Motorcycle in Coquitlam - they are the Beta Importer for Canada

Hi Mike - No we haven't had a club in the Valley for a number of years, - too many hassles, but still quite a lot of riders, and we get out most weekends. - check out my website www.outlawtrials.com for daily updates. And Billy good pic - I've snagged it for the "Odds" album on my gallery.
-
Hi Mike Yeah ! we remember you "Take 5" guys coming out to one of our Kelowna Nationals a few years back - A good bunch & be sure to give us a shout if you do make the move to the Valley ( You likely know we have a National on at Summerland next month)
-
Hi Sleder - send me an email through this site & I will likely be able to point you in the right direction as I'm the Beta/Sherco dealer for Alberta.
-
Not sure where you are located, but have you checked with Don from Cascade MC in Mission BC?
-
They are supplied to the TTT Beta team I believe, and Steve Saunders sells them in the UK, we ( Outlaw Trialsport) are the Distributor in Canada, but have not yet had any feed back because we are still in winter conditions. The Italian manufacturer - Costa Special parts, make a whole line of extra "Bling" for all brands.
-
Hey Bob - You wave your flag and I'll wave mine - I didn't post this to open a debate with you or anybody else.- It's just some news that a lot of people might not be aware of. The facts are that the WEC have been extremely successful, as have the National Trials events, although we did not get too many riders from Eastern Canada in 2009 and 2010. You like to post on behalf of the CMA and that is fine. Please do not try to knock another group who see the Canadian scene different to yourself. Have a nice day.

Forgot to post one of the real "Plums" for Trials riders with WTC is that we get "FREE" insurance, which is covered under the Enduro policy.
