Getting an Athlete to stop competing is probably the hardest part of any PT's job. In general, amateur golfers are even worse than any extreme athlete I've ever worked on. Its always hard to know when to stop, but, its for the best and I'm sure his PT will have him back to his up and running asap.
-
100% the right thing to do, its hard working on anyone with a spondylolysis but the one thing i always dread is an athlete who wants to perform now and can't see the bigger picture.
Good luck!!

Don't think that ones online so it'll have to do!!

Saw Ian Needham's dad a few months back and used to see Luke Wood another Junior Kickstart regular when i worked at a local gym, he even made a brief comeback and was still just as good. Watching Ian in that video brings it home how awful i must of been, he seemed untouchable back in those days so to see him struggle make me glad theirs no footage of me from the same era.
Awesome memories

Balance, lean the bike away from the direction you want to travel and also turn the wheel. Turn the wheel, shift your weight blip the throttle and look round to where you aim to be. Its easier learning it on a mountain bike to be honest (or i was for me).
Its one of them things thats easier to show rather than describe, so sorry if thats not to helpful

After spending a week riding behind him in Scotland it looked like he's used to the 2 stroke again. Was awesome to watch and he can only get better the longer he spends on it.

Give it a tap on the side, always (so far) sorts mine!
-
Was thinking the same myself, their about due surely!!

He's on my facebook page if you want to add him. He's still as friendly as ever. Can't remember who it was but someone on here gave him my email, was great to get back in touch with him after about 12 years ! since he stopped at mine on his way to the US of A to make his fortune! My dad faked a letter from the British Army stating that seeing as he would be missing his compulsory national service he was being called up for British National Service, never seen anyone look so scared.
He also made several attempt at getting on You've been framed by faking daft accident where his wheel fell out etc.
He really was a top rider, his forks on his old Monty had been welded up several times even though he was 3rd in the Elite class. He regularly practiced in flip flops, as did most of the
czech riders so they didn't wear out their Monty boots before a WTC.
Says he has a nice little farm nowadays.

No i meant the frame geometry, i set the bike up how i like it when i've used it .

Don't think so! My Raga feels different to my Dads '08.

Am sure their was something on here earlier in the week about the top 4 but then it disappeared!!??

Chronic Exertional Compartment Syndrome (CECS). Compartment Syndrome
Arm pump or fatigue ca be caused by arthritis, carpal tunnel syndrom, TMJ issues, atlas sublaxion, under or over developed muscles, blah blah blah
1. Make sure your everything is working properly on yourself and the bike. Nothing pumps up the forearms faster than a hard to pull clutch or misalignment in the body. If your shoulder isn't in line everything has to work harder.
2. Drink lots of quality water during day. Make sure its high in electrolytes.
3. Avoid junk food. Proper diet and nutrition are vital if you want to be work more efficently.
4. Sleep well. If you body is tired your muscles will fatigue faster.
5. Don

Or place your arm on an Exercise Ball (or a chair). Depress the shoulder down to the floor lightly and increase the stretch by looking away from the ball
The other stretch is quite handy for trials riders as well..

Its generally an overuse injury which could be caused by many things, poor technique etc. As already mentioned it could be part of a chain of damage.
Generally i look at C-5,7 disc to check alignment. The muscles around the elbow brachialis, brachioradialis and anconeus have nerves that link.
Search google for musculocutaneous and radial nerve pathways and then massage and stretch the muscles that the nerves run under. Key ones to look at are pec minor which in my experience is usually the main problem. If your head carriage is forward through tight pec major/minor then it changes the whole way your body works, (if you imagine the tracking on a car) so your out of line.
This isn't the normal action taken by most physio's (that i've seen), but, in the last 10 years i've seen and rehabed a lot of elbows. Those that ignored it and carried on overusing (at the gym) seemed to develop shoulder injuries such as frozen shoulder/torn rotator cuffs possibly due to altering their movement pattern even further.
Hope that's understandable, its 12:30 am so i may of spelt a few things wrong. Let me know if you want to know anything and good luck sorting it out.

Hi,
My dad spoke with someone who has a contact at Dunlop. Apparently Dunlop know about the site not working and are trying to get it back up. If not we're supposed to register with a supplier when we get up there. Like i said i didn't hear this first hand so can't vouch for it, but if anyone knows any different i'd love to know. If i hear anymore i'll post it up here

I was on a mission to pump my arms up and see if my training is working or not! I'll be back up after scotland, tempted to go on saturday but i have the Novagar on sunday so i'd better not!!
