As a new recruit to "Team Beta", I was wondering if anyone had pondered a mod to use the existing top yoke, machine down bar mounts using a milling machine and fit the S3 bar adjusters.
I had them fitted on the gasser and for my height made a big difference.
The GG official handbook recommends 550cc but if you ask most riders and Factory Kev at GGUK, 400cc is about right and stops oil blowing out the vent tube.
Sadly customer services is not once it used to be and from my own recent experience have been let down badly by a reputable dealer in the NE of England.
To say that I have been let down is actually an understatement, shafted is more apt by one andy ***** of border ***** who has been sending me a TRP shock for a 07 GG Pro in exchange for a Montesa 2STB for some 12 weeks now.
Can anyone tell me if these shocks are so hard to come by or is he just taking the p***.
Anyway, a hard leason learned, dont trust anyone on a deal unless its in writing, good faith has gone out of the window.
I suggest that Cota approaches his new "arabian friends", they will have plenty of spare cash and who knows with CK at the helm, it can only be a roaring success.
Mind you with Redcar Bowl and hMiddlesbrough Town Hall Crypt as possible international venues, it will be heavily geared towards the Brits.
Just finished the Colonial today, fantastic days sport and a true representation of all that is good in trials today, however,
My 2005 4RT has been cutting out for no reason whatsoever in mid section, running very hot, so hot in fact that it has scorched the carbon exaust cover on my Mitani exaust. When I try and restart it and blib the throttle, it reacts like a choked up 2T and stalls.
The bike had a similar problem two weeks ago at the Richmond Telfit trial where it pulled some water into the airbox.
Bike spec is as follows:
Standard plug (new).
Single stage PTB on soft setting.
Jitse Air Filter (new).
Mitani exaust and front pipe.
2007 Upgrade cam.
Checked all connections for water and cleaned/WD40.
Lost valuable marks due to 3 stalls and it is starting to p*** me off !!!
Boy, he does look pleased, is santa bringing him a raptor peg/hangers set and a set of VMar suspension lugs or will be getting hand me downs from a certain up and coming english rider?
Looking forward to seeing them both in action (riding trials of course).

I rode last year, had an early number, slippy sections and it p****d down the full day.
One of the many who gracefully retired.
I have never been so s!!! scared riding up the side of a mountain not knowing where the flags/route goes.
As regards fuel, usually plenty of folk from north/west/south yorks who travel up.
Good luck, you'll need it!!
