  1. hi all

i was looking at a pic of alex farrer's sherco a couple weeks back and he (and quite a few others actually) have got like a canaster sort of thing attached to the frame with like a tube going towards the direction of the rear shock ? i was just wondering what it is and what it does ? cant really explain it in any other way !

    thanks

  2. when you get a new bike do any of you play with the suspension and set it up nice ?

its just i have a 125 sherco from brand new and have never bother playing with the forks and rear susp and to be honest its as stiff as a board !

i also have a 290 sherco which was previously owned by a british championship competitor and i seem to be able to ride that sooo much better as its just really bouncy !! i can do all sorts on that 290 that i cant do when i get on the 125 !

so i just wanted to know how do you go about making your bike nice and bouncy

do you need to sofen the front ? if so usually how many clicks on the screw on the top mof the forks?

and does anyone ever even bother with softening the rear or making it harder ? not sure which one makes it bouncy aha

    any help would be great

sorry about the essay !! aha

    cheers

  3. alrite mate

i ride all trials in the cambs area

i roda at cambridge at the weekend !! very muddy

and this weekend there is a nv trial at a new bit of ground

    should come check it out.

if youre looking for somewhere to practice i'd suggest

    skewbridge!

its a bit of waste land near higham ferris and rushden.

just on the side of the road, you get a lot of lads on mx bikes there but there are a few of us that sometimes go out nfor a practice there.

but if you want to go id go soon because i think the council mite be closing the ground completely to buil on

    hope this helps
