  1. I know who it is, and this is 100% It's a certain Silsden fella's Dad and another French fella who used to market the JCM. Believe it or believe it not!
  2. If certain members of the bradford club start coming up to my dad with accusations they better make sure they get them right No accusation was made a QUESTION was asked !!!! ????????? I really dont understand this at all.
  3. Perhaps we could organise a Bradford outing to some of the other rounds and they could see how to do it properly. That is, a slight but definate bias towards the home riders!!!!!!!!! Can you explain what this is supposed to mean please? If you are suggesting the observing was not done in a proper manner I propose you get off yer backside and do some next year.
  4. If its a detachable Swan neck, youre GOOSED, if a bolt on neck you can have a std neck made to replace it. Not cheap tho.
  5. If there's a certain bit of section a C of C doesn't want riders to go through they should tape it off There is no need for tape, a rider on a given course/route/colour CAN NOT PASS THRO/OVER ANOTHERS ROUTE MARKERS. If you look closely on the reverse of a section route marker there is the same colour circle for that reason. The fim DON'T put them there to make em look nice !!! On sect 15 those that got a 5 let their rear wheel go out of the route they were to follow. ie: into the GREEN route. Rear wheel on the rock was OK, off it and its a 5, no problem. It may not have been obvious to many spectators, but that is what happened I can assure you. The section was not laid out like that to catch them out, but to cover another short cut, for the Blue/Red route. Ms Sainz can be a bit hot tempered, I know, I have been at the brunt of it myself, (Ireland Round) she thought I was Fatherless, in Spanish of course, but I understood OK. She must a got a rollicking from Montesa as she was last seen sweeping the big truck out :-) WELL DONE to all the observers, I KNOW you got the thumbs up from the FIM on the day. The riders also knew they had been observed well, to the rule but well, and consistent. Did any rider post a protest NO? Not even Ms Sainz. That says something. Thanks again to all to helped out both on the day and previous to the event. Bradford & Dist MC / L&M Events.
  6. Amazing that riders have not had some input, many complain about a trial entry fee going up, but when the club offer some PRIZE MONEY all quiet. Shhhhhhh
  7. cOME ALONG AND RIDE IT AGAIN THIS YEAR, IT WILL NOT BE SET OUT FOR THE TOP noVOGAR cHAMPIONSHIP MEN/LADIES AS IT AINT A cHAMPIONSHIP TRIAL. sUITABLE FOR GOOD CLUBMEN.
  8. To add to the celebrations of Bradford's centenary year the club is awarding
  9. Please can I come, I will have been there 8 days and need refreshments :-)
  10. Just to add to the thread on the observer at section 10, had a few comments given to me by 3 riders NOT involved with the incident after the trial naming names. The riders who were involved know who you are, and I do now. It is hard enough getting observers these days, especially when it is cold and wet. And it was COLD & WET !!!! I can assure all that the club will not stand for this sort of treatment of the observers, young or old. They have given up their free time to help the sport. At the start of the trial we were short of observers, this young fella put his hand up to help out, and look what he got as a reward. A total disgraceful show from a pathetic minority.
  11. Whatever it looks a tidy machine for its age I must say.
  12. Nice looking car, bike looks fair too. But that rack, oooohhhhh, it's superb
  13. I have found that the TMX will use images sent to them from clubs etc on a regular basis. After all they dont have to pay the freelance reporters for them then do they !
  14. Best not put any comments here on this one eh!!! Vested intrest and all that. Just make sure you use a lighting board with one. Plod seem to be getting a bit keen round here. I KNOW !!!! Only going 1 mile so didn't bother. Just warned me tho, no ticket.

    Raptor 4rt Stuff

Cant help with your query but Raptor Racing www.raptorracing.biz have just announced they are to sponsor the 2006 Youth Superstars trials in June. They are supporting trials so we should support them !
  16. ARAF, I agree and I think you will find that is why the ACU decided against total bike checks. If the machine examiner says YES bike fine, then you get to 1st section say, which is downhill and brakes dont work. You get injured. Who is in the wrong?
  17. Pretty easy to spot if they have brakes on each wheel I think. As long as you have them all is fine, as to them working or not is up to the rider! As far as I am aware the only thing that a machine examiner should look for is ball end levers, and cut off switch on bikes ridden by YOUTHS
  18. Stop taking thi bird to trials, then she won't catch it. However if she observes it gives them immunisation fro the flu.

    Rust!?

Clean it up with wire wool then treat it with some rust preventative. KURUST in the UK works well
  20. Heard a whisper they signed up Raga for 2007. Could be true, too early for an April Fool.

    Starting Out

Get on it and enjoy yourself. Broken mudguards usually just cosmetic. Get the cable ties or rivet gun out and repair them. You will only break them again. Stu
