I like this idea - depending on how many show up early enough on the Saturday, it could be run as a "TC members only" thing... everyone to section 1, everyone chucks themselves at it, has a laugh, the more experienced riders could help the others out and everyone moves on to the next one. Kind of like a communal seminar type thing. That'd solve the problem of getting enough observers as well. I'd love to have a go at laying out something like that.

I like the sound of that

Regarding a "licence", go along to a local club trial, ask for the secretary.
He/She will be able to supply you with a trials registration form from the ACU.
Join the club, fill in the form send off with a tenner and thats it.
Your local club may also know of places to LEGALLY practice.
-
Many factors could affect the use.
Planning permission may be needed
Insurance for practice days
Local protests/complaints
Public access, right to roam etc
-
I can't see David being too impressed with his phone number
being given out like this
-
It is Home Farm Tong, however the venue is used by many different
types of clubs, 4x4, quads, and motor dealers etc.
I dont have contact details, but am not too sure you
can actually go practising there any more.

Me thinks he's on some kind of medication.
Legal or otherwise not too sure.
Only lost 59, however was seen to get lost
on 1 section
Mr D Lampkin had a stroll round with the Missus
and young Alfie.
I did hear most of the observers were intoxicated by the 3rd
lap due to 2 young ladies ( ) plying them with
alcohol.
Got to have been the warmest Boxingday trial for years.
Thanks to all who donated to the collection
for the McMillan Trust
PS Pub fire was GRAND

MERRY CHRISTMAS TO ALL READERS.
(and riders)
-
Blo*dy riders complaining AGAIN !!!
Its always one thing or another.
"What course should I ride"?
"Is it hard today"?
"This pen has run out of ink"
"Sorry I'm late,I got up late, the traffic was bad"
"Can you change my nappy before the start"
"I don't want to drive my van on that grass, what if
I get stuck"?
"Will I get dirty"?
Heard it all before
I dont ride but enjoy the sport and
spend many hours on the phone/internet/travelling
just to help the sport along.
Setting out a trial costs me more than a tenner in
juice for the motor!
Also I have had to take time off work for
some trials.
I too also sponsor some events, at no real benefit
to my company.
The cost to each rider would be a lot more
per event if organisers required payment.
Pay up and SHUT UP !!!!!!
-
At World round level you give up your, and the minders licence to the organisers.
It is only returned when the bibs come back.
No licence for the next trial NO RIDE
