lovely jugs john as john says its up to the RIDERS who when they fill out there regs should be honest with them selfs!! i know thats not going to happen so i think we just have to get on with it.. theres not a lot the motor club can do, and i think its gone past the stage of saying you can ride but you cant just because some one does not like the look of your bike...OTF is right you just cant get 4ply tyres any more and if you can would YOU ride with one on your bike? tricky micky pointed out that Sammy miller was using lighter hubs, Norton forks ect, so it was going on then and has been going on since man first rode a bike, every one wants the best and the easiest bike to ride, but i think this will go on and on and on so until some one comes up with a hard and fast rule for the bikes eligibility it will happen every year so lets just get on and enjoy a great trial in the most stunning place in the world
fantastic pics thank you very much for posting!!! its just a pity todays worlds best riders don't ride I would love to see raga,buo and the likes riding in Scotland, but i know it seems to clash with world rounds...but it doesn't!!!! USA is 27/04/08 and Japan is 31/05/08 surly they could fit the Scottish in? i am just asking the question why don't the works riders ride the scottish

the motor should be bullet proof the east Germans knew a thing or two about 2 strokes!! just ask the Japanese, they stole most of there ideas from mz/cz and jawa!! not a bad effort from who ever built this
what is the wrap stuff you have mentioned? never heard of that before? i did tell him i thought it would need painting, and by some one who knows what they are doing but thanks very much for your help so far

Ahh but are you making the assumption that the government spend the fuel tax on roads? It all goes in a big pot with every other tax they put on us and then they spend it. Some of that money would have gone on propping up the doomed Northern Rock to a tune of a few Billion pounds!! Chicken feed to them!
Yes you get taxed, but if you are a businessman running a company, then you really get stung! Ah but I expect you to say, well you can afford it. But this simply isn't the case. If I were Richard Branson then I wouldn't mind but the fact is, there are loads of people like me providing jobs for people and getting heavily stung for it. Some one who owns a medium size company like me pays a huge amount of tax and its not just in tax! There are other hidden ways in which the government take money of us.
For instance, in our UK operation for every person I employ, I have to make a national insurance contribution equal to what they pay (11%) - So, I have a 1.3million pound annual wage bill employing 90 people and I have to pay nearly 150k for the privilege. I would much prefer to use that money employing more people or giving our employees better benefits. But no, the government take it and waste it on the bureaucratic and inefficient health service amongst other things.
We also get charged at the rate of 40% on any profits we make as well.
So say you bought a trials bike for a grand and sold it for 2 grand. How would you feel giving the government
