Go easy with the drilling as its a blind hole and its only about 12mm deep...
Go to far with the drill and you will end in the water jacket and have a bigger mess.
Best to take the barrel off the bike so you can see what your about.
I've ran my transit out of desial and it was not at all hard to bleed.
just need a good battey or jump leads from a running motor and give it loads of winding over.
the trick with the WD40 helps and so does filling up the fuel fillter first.
also get as much of the petrol out as you can and fill the tank right up with desial to dilute.
No cam belt on your engine so you could try towing....
Looks like a nice clean one owner bike to me and a genuine ebayer to boot.
worth a look if you were in the market for a second hand gass'er...
Not sure about the markings on the engine as i ride a 225 which is marked 25 on the barrel and had a 200 with know marks at all.
I bought a new one not that long ago and it was about fourty quid all in with post and vat.
You could get the broke one welded up and use as a spare,,,but i would put a new one on just to be sure.
I think that the temo swicth for the fan is at fault and needs replaceing.
There not the best of design on the pro's as they are right at the top of the radiator and can run dry
if you are a little low on coolant.
I replaced mine with one off an older gas gas that sits in the top radiator hose. see pic.
I would change the oil a few and check your water pump seal is in right and your fan comes on after a couple of minutes.
Any way good luck with it and hope you havn't done any damage to the piston and bore as thats mega bucks to put right....
Now Now davet ... montman is right in what hes trying to say, hes just hasn't said it...
Drag on a clutch is when the bike wants to creep forward when the lever is pulled in.
Slip is when the clutch enganges when lever is not pulled in and engine is under load...
Hi Franck,,

we have some idear what you are trying to achive...
Where are you buying your titanium nuts and bolts from ?????
Cheers mikee
Did you put seals the right way round Tom ????
The rubber needs to face out..
Can't help with the Sherco seals, but the gas gas seals from BVM are dirt cheap.
85 psi is as much as i've ever gone to with a dunlop...
35 psi with the mich x light i've just put on.
Loads of lube is the way to go if its close as you say...
I also checked the reeds - the ends are starting to wear and when looking through you can see they are starting to go thin - when is the right time to replace them?
Now would be a good time if you have the running sorted out.
