If they are the correct prices they are very reasonable. I'm in serious consideration mode!
Me too, for that sort of money ... I'm sure there going to be more, they always are.
-
Ok before i go ahead and hit this with a big hammer and chisel, has anyone got any tried and tested ways of removeing
the lower inner race of the head stock bearing.

How are you finding the gearing 9 / 42 ???
I've only rode one 225 and this had the same gearing and i found it to way to fast for me. (but then i aint to good ).
i'm looking to take my 200 out to a 225 soon, so i'll follow this tread with intrest.
cheers mike

Hi peter, how far did you move the forward did you you move the pickup sensor and for what gain????
cheers mike

Hi Jan, I've done this with my 07 125 pro and it the way forward...
You get a very nice weight to power and a easy handleing bike.
Jetting wise i left mine with the 125 jets and it ran ok with the delorto carb.
you need to fit a lot of fly-wheel weight to get the bottom end power. (mines 850 grams)
I have now fitted a keilen carb to mine to up the power some more and make it a lot more useable in the bigger trials i do.
Hers a photo of my 200...
-
Hi Ben,
I also run a Keihin carb on my 200cc which is a flat slide..
are you saying that you can more than one slide to fit this carb and what advatages would it give you ????
Heres a link to there web site, best to email them...

Gas Gas uk are very good for spares...
-
I've had one on the rear for a month or so and can't tell the differacne with a x11....
I weighed it when i got it and there was only a few grams in it with the old x11 i took off..
Would like to know are the fronts any good as need one soon.
-
Sounds like your man to ask to build one....How much would it cost???
-
Might be worth having a look at your front wheel, if it has a large axel then no.. you would need 6905 2rs..
If not, then you would need 6004 2rs. same size as rear...
Hope this helps.
-
You could all so try fitting a head spacer as this will lower the compression and take a lot of the snap away....
What gearig are you running.????
10t front a 42t rear is a nice set up.....
-
Sounds like you need a new piston and replate.
-
Quick anwser is NO...
Its not a big, but does take time and a few tools.
-
You aint never going to slow a 280 down with a slow action throttle...but for the record "if its fitted with a white throttle slide than it has a fast one and if its fitted with a black slide then it has a slow one"
The 280 pro is a expert bike and will hinder you more than help if you are just starting out...
There are things that you can do to tame it down a bit, like fit a fly wheel weight and a head spacer, but at the end of the day its still going to bark...
-
Silicon works a treat Max.... Not to much...
-
There is no spacer on an 06 front wheel, its all part of the axel...
The front wheel bearings are 6905 2rs..
hope that helps.
-
Have a look under the tank...
you will see the CDI box..... (black box)
they will be a black wire and a orange wire..
Join together is soft setting, pulled apart high setting...
you rellay have to screem the s##t out of the bike to notice any real diffeacne...
-
Keep it and learn to ride it....
Looks like a well together i;d say it be worth around the 2.5k mark. (as long as it don't rattle)
-
Well its time to put me hand in my pocket and buy some new chain and spockets.
Been looking around and came across THIS.
Sorta like the idear of saveing a bit a weight, but not at the expecne of a "DNF".
So question is anyone useing a 420 kit on there gas'er .
Cheers mike
