I'm looking to start riding again currently working on a Honda TL 125 which has been sitting in my garage for about 20 years, I started riding at the age of six and had a yamaha ty50, which was stolen about 4 years later, leaving a very upset child lol. I'm also looking to buy a more modern machine for about
Just wanted to say how impressed I am with Sammy Miller. As I havent been into trials since a kid starting to restore my TL125 was proving to be quite hard as I had no knowledge, Sammy Miller were extremely helpful and helped me get EXACTLY the things I needed and they were delivered the next day
cheers guys....ive managed to book the engine in with a local mechanic....im too impatient havent ridden it for 13 years so i just wanna get it running and get on it he's only charging twenty pound to fit the spline and rebuild the engine....... should be interesting to get on it. Im going to be the MOST shocking rider on the forum :-) everyone watch out for a tl125 and a rider always on the floor in the midlands...cos that will be me! thanks for all your help
Just a quick question about riding my tl125 at a practise area, i havent done any trials since i was 7 years old and now im 24 and restoring my tl125. However I havent got a clue about what the machine is capable of or what objects are deemed ridable on a twin shock....im a bit worried ill look like a right idiot if i go and ride a a club. i used to race downhill mountain biking sponsored by volvo so to go into a sport where i have no skill is a bit scary. any tips?
Hi thanks for the offer of lending me the tool or making me one...let me know how much you want for it? I could leave you a deposit through paypal or pay for the one you make. Many Thanks
Quick question I'm taking the engine apart to fit a new kickstart spline, however there is a tool required to remove the part next to the clutch, like a four prong wrench??? Does anyone know where i can get it from?
The problem with laser eye surgery is that it hasnt been around long enough to have an understanding of what happens later on in life....i really want laser surgery but i like being able to see things as well so im gonna stick with my disposable lenses.....only cost me

I started on a Yamaha ty50 not sure if there still around...was a great bike though until it was stolen and i got bits of it back in police evidence bags
yeah very true, ive got a ducati 748 in the garage which my dad rides if i pass i can use that :-) just getting to my mates there are loads of small lanes which cars cant get down, be fun on a trials bike.
I live in a village and it would be handy for me to get a round to my mates and stuff, i was thinking more about a new beta or something :-) do i need to kit it out with horrid lights all over and a number plate?
David Silvers is also good. Get the Sammy Miller exhaust and the front fender stay. A good set of shocks, new modern tyres, modern handle bars. Don't let all that power get you in trouble.
What do u mean by power? Are they not very powerful then? I havent ridden since i was about 12 so have no udea about the power of it?
Probably been covered before but I cant find anything, I have been riding for years now but never rode on the road, what would I need to do to ride a road registered trials bike? What happens about lights, Inidcators and reg plate? also insurance? do i need direct access test?
Cheers!!!...I just want to add what a great site this is as well. Its been a real motivator for me to get back into trials and the posts on here are extremely informative
