Hello, can someone tell the type and capacity of oils for a BSA B25, Thanks in advance.

Cut at circle 1 as it hides behind air box after it's been welded back, there will be a sort of packing in there, but I ran my without after burning it all out, no problems.

An alloy one from Richard is probably best bet, 2nd 3D printing but it would need a big printer, lastly you could rivit some thin alloy over the cracks etc and then coat with a fibreglass (boat repair kit) or similar to blend it all in and add strength and paintable, this is how I made mine bigger in volume.

No it's different, air filter fits on lid of one and inside of other, slightly smaller also, and different mounting lugs

The engine sprocket is 18t, 13t on the g,box I had a 50 for the rear wheel so will try that, Charlie why do I need to machine seal etc? Thanks for replies, what is preference on oils?

It has the standard swing arm I think as it is very close on one side and would need altering or as you say the 'sports version' Forks are supposed to be Betor 35mm but I dont know what from as the Rickman brake plate fits to the lug on the leg fine, I will take some photos but its been tucked away as Ive got the last round of the KIA twinshock tomorrow and been sorting the Fantic.

What has happened to Expert riders, in national events? Take the Manx 2 day 16 riders on the national route 130+ on the clubman, it's probably 11 years since I last rode national events, granted I finished in the last third of the finishers of the national class but I rode the hard route as it was the done thing for a lad in his 20s who wanted to improve their riding, and I'm sure the entry was almost split 50/50 on each route. When I look at the results for some nationals now I see people I rode with in the 90s riding the clubman route, fair enough age is creeping up on us, work on Monday etc other family commitments. But where are the next generation of national lads.

Look under the tank, there will be a date stamp, this should give roughly the age.

6" rentals are the tallest your get, other option is to put a riser block in between existing clamps and handlebar, I had some from a pit bike that had the same hole centres

If you do alter the headstock you really need to alter the length of swing arm. Unless your going to ride it in modern trials you probably won't need to alter it. Moving the pegs and handlebar clamps should be enough

You need to measure the resistance of the red and black wires, not the voltage you get, and dont turn engine over when you are doing this. The perished wire is common, once you get the ohms readings speak to Bill Pye, get a new CDI coil off him and if needed get stator rewound (motoplatt uk), all in will cost about £120 but the electrics will then be fine. Dont go for the cheaper flea bay versions they dont last.

The above plate is too wide for a 200 really, I think Adtek do one and another company from South Wales, mine is a Adtek but it did need modifying

The nozzles on each side of throttle body should have a linking pipe with a hole in the middle of the link, just may be 1 thing adding to another problem

Cr 250 plates always sorted mine, putoline light gear oil was fine

You may well have a gear in the wrong place

Look at the engine diagram on frankfield fantic, it's practically the same as a 240 set up

400-600ohm reading of source coil (red and black cable) is this the same for all Fantic twinshocks. I've had mine rewound beginning of the year and it came back 800ohm ?
