  1. Forget the FIM. They will not make the decision. It will be the EU that makes the changes. The EU Euro 3 emmision laws start in Jan 2008. 7 months from now. Will any of the current 2 strokes meet the Euro 3 laws? These are the toughest emmision laws anywhere in the world. In America your EPA laws start 2008 for off-road bikes. Who is ready?
  2. For those of us that know a bit about the sport he is. Juha is a former Finnish JuniorTrials Champion. He always mentions his trials background in interviews and says that he is on his trials bike at every oppertunity. I believe that last year Juha found time to ride a trial and Finnished third last year in a Finnish National in the Expert class. I'm Finnished.
  3. World Championship rider Tadeuz Blazusiak won the prestigious Erzberg Rode Enduro in Austria against the top Enduro riders in the World. In fact the top five places were occupied by current or former top trials riders. Tady was loaned a bike by the promoter of the Enduro and invited as a wild card rider. Brit Tom Sager was second and World Enduro Champ Juha Salminen was third. Brits Wayne Braybrook and Paul Edmonson finished 4th and 5th. Results Red Bull Hare Erberg Rodeo 2007 1. Tadeuz Blazusiak, Poland, KTM, 1:29.48 2. Tom Sager, Britain, KTM, 1:35.36 3. Juha Salminen, Finland, KTM, 1:42.45 4. Wayne Braybrook, Britain, GasGas, 1:47.10 5. Paul Edmondson, Britain, Suzuki, 1:47.54 6. Gerhard Forster, Germany, Beta, 1:48.47 7. Paul Bolton, Britain, Honda,1:57.05 8. Marko Tarkkala, Finland, KTM 2:03.50 9. Kyle Redmond, USA, KTM, 2:09.49 10. Ralf Scheidhauer, Germany, KTM, 2:11.2
  4. It is obvious that Jitse know more about suspension than HRC.
  5. Doesn't it have electronic ignition?
  6. The young Brits are impressive.Look out Spain !!! Three four strokes in the top four. and they were from 3 different manufacturers. Why are the four strokes political? I thought they were motorcycles and I like all motorcycles. Artie
  7. I find it very interesting that there are 5 four strokes in the top 6 and only one two stoke. Wow!
  8. Most of the top world riders were in Spain for last weekends Spanish National in preparation for the upcoming worlds I noticed that there were seven factory riders on 4 strokes in the top 11 and only four riders on 2 strokes.
  9. Tomi Ahvala is riding the Montesa in the SSDT. Smart move.
  10. welcome back Spike. My advise is to just enjoy yourself and don't listen to the anti-4 stroke crowd. My 4 Rt seems to love any fuel. It is much less sensative to fuel then my 2 stroke (315 R) was. as for 4T riding tips, just keep it flowing.
  11. as far as I know the top US riders make prize money and some even a salary from their sponsors. That makes them a professional to most people. professional means makes $, not makes a living.
  12. when a man like Braybrook says it was the toughest event he has ever ridden, you know it must be tough. great coverage by Speed channel.

Biaggi goes 1 - 2 in the first round. not bad for an old gp has been.
  14. good job Andy. keep the post coming. I love moto gp!
  15. Congrats to Senor Bou for winning so convincingly on a bike that the" know it alls" said couldn't win Indoors. Also congrats to Caby for making it interesting. Even with Bou and Caby both missing a final due to mechanicals it looks like they will finish 1 - 2 for the Championship. As for the Lampkins. They are a credit to our sport.
  16. Congrats to Caby on his Indoor win ! http://www.trialscentral.com/cms/showartic...?articleID=2820 Didn't think those two strokes could win Indoors. Boy was I wrong!
