  4. Good post Graham. Thank you. The EFI developed on the Montesa are now being seen on the MX-Off-Road line which will soon be all EFI. I think we can safely assume the the costs were spread over a range of models because the return from the trials market alone would not seem to be enough to make it worthwhile.
  5. Ludde, your importer is correct. The reason is that there are many leftover 2009 bikes. Honda is doing the same with many other models they have in overstock.

  8. Gareth, you are right about me. Please forgive my plankness. But you are wrong about the riders at TdN. If the team is run properly, then the interest of the team is paramount in the riders hearts and minds and their individual scores mean nothing them. As I said, meaningless.

  13. Individual scores are never posted. They are meaningless.
  14. The best 3 scores per section are counted. A 3 man team is allowed, but teams with 4 riders have an advantage. They have a can throwaway their worst score/section. 3 man teams can't afford a bad ride. Women's trial is similar, only with 3 rider teams.

  19. The only parts carried over from the 315 are the wheels and suspension and those are the best in the business.
  20. Only Five years in production and you want a complete new model? The costs have barely been amortized. In this economic climate? Sales are seriously down for all the marques. What they need to do is a cost reduction and make it more affordable. Maybe an update with a bigger bore motor. A 300 cc would be nice. It is still the only true clean trials engine. I don't see how they get the 2T past the Euro 3. Maybe an Electric Cota should be next.
  21. Refer to your owners manual/parts book. If the middle 3 digits of a part number are NN2, NN3 or NN4 etc... then its a part that is specific to Montesa. Otherwise the part is a standard Honda part. Your are better off buying from Lewisport USA as they have the knowledge and support the sport.
