So, I have an Aprilia climber 280, i bought it a few months ago and its a bit tatty! I have replaced the kickstart lever, the brake pads, the gearchange lever and the rear shock. I will be riding it again soon to check if it was worth while or not! I got the kichstart lever and gearchange lever from Andover Norton - they were really helpfull and matched my old parts up in no time at all! The pads were from wemoto - although took 2 months to arrive (although i blame the post not them) the shock was an ebay item but again i was lucky to receive a tidy item! im quite new to trials so i dont have any wonderful hints or tips for the Aprilia crowd but im sure there will be far more knowledgable people than me in here! I wandered if we could have an Aprilia section in the Bike Specific forum? I know the climbers are not hugely popular however there are a fair few still out there and its very hard to get information on them! Im sure it wouldnt be the most popular section but it would be so usefull for Aprilia riders! Just a thought!

Thanks all, The tank cover is from JKHirst. Ive not actually recieved it yet but its on order. From what i can gather, its a plain white cover. I dont know what material, how it fixes on or what it looks like. I do know it is only available in plain white due to the low number being produced. Dont get me wrong, its a plain and simple cover - but my plastic tank looks bad - very bad. This cover will at least be presentable and clean! FYI its 30 quid + postage Hope this helps

Does anyone know if it is possible to but a TY250 Mono Seat from anywhere? I know there is a one piece tank and seat unit but i would like to keep the seperate tank / seat arrangement. I have a nice cover for the tank on its way so i just need to make my nasty seat look nice. Can you still buy seats (apart from Yamaha ones that are way expensive)? Does anyone make a pattern one? Hi all, I get my new 1996 Aprilia Climber next weekend and it seems there hard to find information, advice and parts for. Can anyone point me into the right direction where i might get any info on these bikes from? Also i have a TY250R and the clutch basket has had a prong snapped off, can i still use it or does it need replacing? Thanks all;

Help! I have just bought a TY250R and the clutch basket has one of the edger pieces snapped off (the parts the plates slide through). Is this useable? ive just seen some damaged clutch baskets (the same) on ebay for sale. does the damage matter? If i nned to replace it does anyone have one to sell?
