  1. Awesome! Well done! I love the custom seat tank combo, and the rest of the bike as well!
  2. Wow, that Greeves is pegging the weird O meter! I remember DKWs and some Sachs ha Earls type forks, but never saw a Greeves trials bike with them, and that kinda-unit morot....strange, thought i knew a lot about vintage bikes growing up in the 60s 70s! Learn something new every day!
  3. Man! Those are fantastic mate! Here is a linky to my now seemingly "standard" TY250! http://s179.photobucket.com/albums/w303/Sn...pipe600x450.jpg Nothing like the trickness of those, but getting nice durring my home resto all the same. KEEP VINTAGE TWIN SHOCK TRIALS ALIVE!!!
  4. Most people use a photohosting site (photobucket as an example) and post a link to the picture from there. Luckily I have webspace My M91 Sherpa Complete Man, I love those Sherpa Ts! Nice! So, If I email you a pic, can you post it up for me just this one time? Wait, lets see if this works! http://s179.photobucket.com/albums/w303/Sn...pipe600x450.jpg SWEET! That works great!
  5. absolute easiest I found is a free program calle pixresizer. it is super easy, and you can save as any size and rez and also aspect ratio.
  6. I shoot only film in my still cameras because I have yet to find a digital body that releases the shutter when I press the shutter release. Do any of these current crop release the shutter the exaxt second that you depress it? That is the only thing I don't like about digital! I shoot mostly video so stills are my hobby.
  7. Erm... just how many memory slots does this supercomputer have? I don;t know, it is a MAC pro. I actually never opened it yet! I'll look. I shoot and edit viedeo, I have a system guy who does the computer systems to our specifications.... OK, I looked, it has 16G of ram! It has 2 terrabytes of storage..HDD drive space for video and audio. My mistake. http://www.apple.com/macpro/ here it is and mine is only 2TB of storage.
  8. Take it from me and up-grade both your RAM, and hard drive space! Video is a space and compute cycle hog. You need as much ram as you can stuff in your machine as well as as much HDD space as you can afford. My workstation is a MAC Pro and has a Terrabyte of ram, and quad processors, and a terrabyte of storage (HDD space). And I am still wanting more speed! I am only editing on FinalCUt Pro HD too, If I was using Avid I would need even more. But, I am at a different level than you as I do this for a living....but you still need a ton of ram and HDD space.
  9. Iam almost finished with my Project TY250A. I have pics but don;t know how to post. It looks great though! Can anyone walk me thru posting a pic? I guess you have to have a host?
  10. I have been wanting a TY250A for ever. Ever since I worked at a Yamaha shop when I was 16 at the parts counter in 1974. I finally picked up a clean TY250A. Got a great deal on it too. I have been restoring it over the last two weeks and have gotton it almost perfect. I wish I knew how to post pics or I would!
