  2. if you plan on keeping the van for a while i would invest in a pair of bf goodrich all terrain tyres for the driving wheels .you will not believe how good they are ,like having 4x4 traction honestly . quite pricey but i got 100,000 miles out of my last set

  4. try running on shell v power petrol and putoline 2 stroke .i had exactly the same problem on a cr250 and stopped using silkolene 2 stroke and normal unleaded and the problem dissapeared overnight

    takes ages from cold short the wires from the thermostat to find out if your fan is working or not

    cant comment on the marzocchis but ive got to agree with you on the piaollis forks fitted to betas.they are useless .i cant notice a bit of difference between no rebound and full rebound.even a 10 year old dated set of showas are head and shoulders better than brand new piaollis

  9. the 2 faces of the taper will not be identical to each other .it doesnt take much .before fitting the woodruff key put a little valve grinding paste on the shaft,fit the flywheel and turn it back and forward until you get a nice light grey colour cn both faces then reassemble and it will be fine.it is not the woodruff key that keeps the flywheel from turning on the shaft it is the shaft itself the key is just a locator

  12. get an aerosol of plastic primer and give it a coat of that first then your top coat and it will be fine
  13. yes always put spring side to where the most pressure build up is going to be
  14. your beta has succumb to the pourous water pump casing syndrome.take the water pump cover off and you will more than likely find it will be all corroded .about
  15. pick the sticker off ,get the bike loaded up and in the unlikely event you get pulled just act daft
  16. try a spot of petrol down the bore if it fires up you will know its fuel related .if it fires up let it run for a while then give it a good roasting along the road it gives it a clean out and gets it up to temp

  19. why not get a 2 bike trailer for towing behind your family car far cheaper option than a pick up
