I've got a kliponoff rack...(bought YEARS ago)...Im having to use it now since I had to sell my van, and I must say, I cant wait to get a trailer sorted, coz this rack thing looks scarey....AND it seems really hard to find anywhere to tie the bike too!..if anyone has any tips on that I would appreciate it.

havent got a gold fren one, but ive used other ones, and to be honest i still find the result is MUCH better if i bleed from the calliper up with a large syringe, just like you suggest.
-
hee-hee...good banter on this one eh!...dont worry, i can still parp my bugle with one hand..(just about)!!...
-
Just been to have a new splint fitted, and i THINK the nurse said 6 weeks...i wasnt really concentrating, coz she was a total babe!!!!!!!!!..and had a loverly foreign accent. (i told her so too..but it didnt work). Anyway, she said if it starts to hurt, to come back and see her....oops, now im dribbling over the keyboard again.

Thanks munch....thats good news, so, I know if you liked it, I will too.
As you probably heard, Im mostly riding up here near mid wales now, but will probably bump into you sooner or later in one of your trials.
Thanks for the reply
-
mmm, sounds delightfull.
Was trying to persuade Heath to go out on Sunday, but he cant. Im in Hereford at the mo. and there aint much on here this weekend. Well, theres a trial near Stroud, but something a bit closer would be nice.
Anyway....thanks for the help.

HI all,
Heard about a place called Toms farm, which I THINK might be nearish to me, so if anyone has any info or a tel. no, please let me know.
I've heard its mostly an enduro place, but that there are a few brooks, and climbs there which are OK for trials.
I gather it is somewhere near mid wales??
THanks in advance for any info.

-
hee-hee...
you's still a funny man...and you still drinks too much cider
-
Bummer..soon as I wrote that, I was hoping you didnt see it Heath...but you dont miss much do ya ..no offence intended.
And yes...guess you're right..cant argue about the Aprilia colours...they certainly arent good for anyone with a hangover.
See you in The Wales soon...(as Ali G calls it)
Might be sporting bubble production colours on my bike soon too!..(brothers company)..so then you can really get your own back on my fashion sense!
-
mmm..interesting stuff..15 n half stone pitley!!!..flipping eck!..
Anyway..(as Pitley knows,..and is sick of hearing)..I want to try and get into twinshock or air-cooled mono class myself..as well as still riding the modern stuff.
Since I love the modern bikes, I really would prefer to have the little Scorpa 125F to enter the air cooled mono class....so...not knowing TOO much about this side of the trials scene, I want to know, just how many events stipulate that the air cooled mono's have to be pre 95?????
Is it the majority of events, or just the odd few???
Personally, I dont see it as an issue, since there are loads of good riders out there on even rigid bikes that would still kick my *** on a Scorpa 125
-
What ...cheap and tacky, like flourescent pipes on your carby!!
sorry..couldnt resist that
-
welcome...always good to see people joining TC from far away!
-
Excellent....I love it
Best thing to do with a Mars bar if you ask me
-
I wonder which is heavier....the Gorilia or the Dodge??
-
I didnt know Dodge made trials bikes....!!hee-hee
-
Yes, it is a very small hole..just on top of the crankcase, right hand side..rear brake side!
You'll probably have to make some kind of funnel/pipe to get it in.
Ammounts vary massively depending who you ask. I was told anything from 1 litre to 1400 mls, but BVM eventually told me 1200 mls, for the water cooled model, so thats what I went with and it seems to have worked out fine
-
Well...its a bit far for me, but I wish it wasnt because it sounds fantastic....hopefully i will still make it there one day to check it out.
Really hope that it DOES stay open, coz there aint many place to ride are there!!!!!!!!!!
Obviously if they do have a problem and a bunch of signatures would make any difference, Id certainly sign...even if I NEVER go there!
-
Do a search on here, this has come up before...
For an engine manual you can also try Peter Knight power sports...do a search on google and you should find it. THats where I got mine
-
air inlets?????????????
basically I reckon ANY modern bike is much better than anything I'll ever need at my ability, so I guess thats why most of us discuss colour etc so much
-
Aaah!...good to know your user name at last malc. SHould be in Hereford a bit more often soon...so hope you have time to go and do some practise on the bikes sometime.
Oh!..and pitley..yeah...I volunteer...to ride it!!!!!!!!!, but I suppose, if Im in a VERY good mood, I might be persuaded to observe, especially if I dont get a twinshock before then.
