Hi nathan..
I'm sure you know about BVM right??
www.bvm-moto.co.uk
They sell the XPeed helmet which is very good and pretty cheap too.
OR..when my stuff arrives from HK, you can have the helmet you saw me wearing last week...free..
It aint THAT pretty, and aint THAT new but if it fits, you're welcome to it.
WOnt be in Hereford for a few weeks, but I'll probably bump into you fairly soon
Hope that Aprilia is still going OK
-
Thanks desperado...I still dont know how to do a link..so its lucky you do.
Hope to see you at the next one then Gasserboy....get well quick!!!
-
Sound advice PRW.
Other points about the petrol tap...yep when arrow is pointing to the rear of the bike petrol is OFF....when it points UP petrol is on...and when it points forwards petrol is on reserve.
Think there is about 1 litre in reserve
-
NO..I guess its not a good way to decide which bike to buy...but it IS a little dissapointing, 'cause those black forks DO look rather nice...shame the 125 doesnt have them
-
Just rode a cracking trial at Dorrington, organised by the South Shropshire club...thanks to them all
The main reason for this post, is to let anyone else know, (that just rode it)..that apparently the results will be on the Briedden Hills club website tonight!!!..now thats what I call fast
-
Welcome back man!!...even if it is on a gasser
-
I too would like to think its not the last we'll here of Sam, and I believe that its not anyway??!!
Of course, you're right Dabster...its easy for us mere mortals to diminish what these kind of guys are doing!...just to complete a world round gets my total respect!
-
I'll swop yer Majesty for a loverly Climber I have in the garage then pitley
-
Beer glasses that is.
As you know pitley, once I've got the work situation sorted, I'll be buying a twinshock...JUST for Hereford Classic Club trials.
I reccomend it to everyone...the HCTC are a bunch of complete nutters..(in the nicest sense!!)...so you'll ALWAYS have a fun time with them..AND they've got some great venues
-
I did get a Peugeot Expert in the end and so far I'm VERY happy with it.

Try using a plastic welder. There not TOO expensive in the states...I think Whitehorse Press sell them, but alot of hardware stores seem too as well.
I've had SOME success with plastic welding, but some plastics seem to fix better than others.
The bad side is, it never looks THAT pretty, unless you spend ages rubbing down and repainting etc...which will probably cost more than its worth...but I guess, it doesnt matter how it looks if you're just gonna keep it as a spare
-
looks like his glasses are on his head to me
-
mmmmm...
I've already asked my mate to look out for any new Fantics in Milan, but I've a feeling those are the kind of photos he will give to me!
-
-
Nathan...bloody 'ell...I thought I was the only one mad enough to ride an APrilia...
better watch out..I might be knicking a few bits of yours when you aint looking!!!
Cant make Saturday sorry..but would be happy to help pack up etc on the Sunday, if anyone needs a hand
-
You can follow me round Nathan...I'll clear the path for you....any trees etc in the way, my tractor will clear 'em.
Thanks mikedabike...(the man with the coolest user name!!!)...which Id thought of that.
Will see ya Sunday, to plough a few turnips.
A***
-
I've got a mate going to Milan, so I will ask him to look out for any Fantics...and take some pics!
-
A fiver...bloody 'ell...thats a weeks wages in "ereford
Yep...you'll see me there 'cept I'll be driving the wrong tracter, so I guess I'll 'ave to ride for no rewar'
roll on Sunday
and yep..I reckon you'd get the riders for that trial
-
Take off the rear mudguard, and the rear subfame is the two aluminium struts..(one each side) which connect to the main frame of the bike.
those struts are what the airbox/silencer/etc hold onto.
the one on the right..(silencer side) is the one that often cracked on my bike....mind you, it might be 'cause I crash alot!..if it IS cracked I would just buy a new one..(not too expensive) since it would probably cost about the same to get someone to weld it.
-
I THINK a new silencer is around the 100 quid mark
I would check the rear subframes..I had several crack on mine..and at the same time check/replace the exhaust mountings...(silent block as its called on the parts diagram.
Cant think what else, but I'm sure you'll get some better advice on here soon.
Sounds like a bargain!
-
I was shown the coombe (sp?) step too!!...and yep, it would be bloody great if that trial came back...sounds like it was a terrific event!
-
bloody good vid!!!...wish I could do stuff like that on my Gorilia
Cant think of any music right now...sorry
-
R...it were a right good 'un
Yep..definately thanks to the workers for laying out some great sections..and what a great venue!!
Just hope I can be on my Beta next time!..that Gorilia sure is hard work...(well..thats my excuse)
-
Hiya..
mmm..interesting points as usual..but I AM gonna bin that SIlkolene anyway...(just got a thing about it now)...it even LOOKS too thick/gummy
Was only really using it 'cause it was in the shed at the time. Will let you know if theres any noticeable difference with the Repsol I just bought
