  1. Seasons greetings to you Mark, we have some reasonable adverts on the telly this side of the pond, we haven't yet progressed to the 'caskets' and 'hemorrhoid cream' like wot you got stateside Rent is cheap, imagination is free! They're both gonna spend a bit of time with me this Christmas (I'm stuck offshore)! Hope you have a fantastic festive GJ
  2. Up until recently this was my favourite ad on the telly for 2011... and then this one appeared..... ....neither make me want to buy beer or perfume (who needs advertising to make you want to buy beer?) but for some strange reason they both appeal to me but which ones best? While I'm here........ Merry Christmas and a dab free New Year to everyone here on TC. I hope 2012 brings you all much happiness All the best, GJ & Family
  3. It ain't no whore, it's a high class lady of the night! Give it more money and it'll love you long time Treat it like a slut and you'll get nothing but misery (and a visit to the clinic) GJ
  4. Just realised that an 'S' reg would be 1976 so that's my theory blown anyhooz! GJ
  5. Is there a clue in the number plate Donald? Six Days Trial 1975? GJ
  6. Have you tried Gas Gas UK on 01298 766813 ? They might be able to help ? Perhaps have a look here We're a pretty good website if you need spares parts for a GasGas motorcycle.com? GJ
  7. Can't say I've ever had a problem with any of my Gasser clutches but should I ever have the urge not to ride my bike and spend hours faffing about with a file and a micrometer instead, I thank you in advance for your observation GJ P.S. Yes, sarcasm is the lowest form of wit but it humours me in my latter years. Please forgive me.
  8. C'mon now Donald, I have feelings you know A favourite extract from my manifesto: Have all the dossers, fakers and scroungers sort out all our rubbish for recycling to 'earn' their benefits giro. GJ
  9. Vote First (scroll up) - Read this after ! To stop, or not to stop, that is the question: Whether 'tis Nobler in the mind to suffer The Signs and Arrows of outrageous sections, Or to take Arms against a Sea of troubles, And by opposing end them: to die, to sleep........ Much as I'd love to continue in rewriting Willy Shakespeares fine works I shall digress no further OK, it's THE hottest topic this year and if you haven't been reading all the other threads and articles regarding this subject then I suggest you follow THIS LINK as your're probably not of sound mind? There are many opinions out there so hopefully this poll may help give some indication of the general consensus throughout the Trials Central community? By all means this is far from the best way to sway the opinion of any governing body but it may give good indication as to what the majority of competing trials riders prefer? (Competing meaning ANYONE that partakes in club trials and upwards). If you don't compete, why the hell not? Remember, this is just a poll. Feel free to air your views on the subject on any of the other threads already started. The concept of having one section 'stop' and the next 'no stop' hasn't yet been discussed / debated (that I can see) so perhaps this thread could be used for that purpose? Let the rampage begin....... GJ P.S. If you have taken the time to read this please take the time to vote - thank you
  10. I'd be very interested in these e-mails. Please forward them to DavidCameron@Number10.co.uk GJ
  11. A bit like 'Drinking pints is only an issue if you have a weak bladder' ? I prefer right hand kickers for exactly the same reason as I prefer to use my right hand for the other pleasurable things in life. Using the left hand just aint the same, therefor I am evidently weak minded (and going blind)! Hands up if you ride pre-65 with a right hand gear change and left foot brake? You then swap back to a modern machine for the the next six days.....is it a problem? We as humans are mainly pretty good at the 'overcome and adapt' when faced with a challenge so a left kicker isn't really much of an issue unless (like me) you're good at stalling and are naturally biased to the right side of the body? I would hazard a guess that if you're left handed (footed) you'll prefer a left kicker and vice versa unless of course you're ambidextrous? Then you probably don't give a f*ck GJ
  12. How many do you want Mark? I'll get them for ya and post them over? GJ
  13. Exciting news...Ford & Renault Renault and Ford have joined forces to create the perfect small car for women. Mixing the Renault 'Clio' and the Ford 'Taurus' they have designed the 'Clitaurus'. It comes in pink, and the average male car thief won't be able to find it

    fun in the garage

.....and your point is? I can only summise that 500 like minded people didn't really want to comment on the choice of frame colour and the Evil Knievel seat cover? Go take some pictures of it covered in mud struggling through a boggy section and watch the replies flood in GJ
  15. Top Gear tested a similar product years ago with a car on an ice rink? They achieved good results on the 'dry' ice conditions of the ice rink but didn't test it on any other surface? So if the first section just happens to be marked up on the local ice rink you might just be in with a chance GJ
  16. Oh, Mrs L has internet access for sure John, she's online just now looking at pressure washers. Talk about dropping hints eh! GJ
  17. Book arrived today Mairi, awesome. It's so good I've decided to keep it for myself and get Mrs Wife that new pressure washer she wants so much For all you SSDT fans out there, if you haven't ordered a copy yet do it now. You won't be disappointed GJ
  18. Oh oh, you weren't filming on Wednesday night were you? Mrs Wife says disc arrived, I'll be watchin it soon. Cheers John GJ
  19. Worth a look if you have the space...... BIKE SAFE .....but you budget for buying a bike afterwards might be less? GJ
  20. The Bing translation; Big surprise in the area of transfers, since Laia Sanz, 11-time world champion abandons the Montesa team to join that of Gas Gas. An agreement which includes different activities "off road" on the trial for Gas Gas to be bought almost a fact on a title of world women's champion, but that will allow the beautiful Iberian ride enduro and rally raid. With the rumor from a site in Spanish of a departure from Toni Bou for Beta and this proven departure of Laia Sanz for Gas Gas, we can start a worry about the sustainability of the Montesa team. Case to follow This and the news that next years world round at Fort Bill is cancelled, all in one night! Jings crivens help ma Boab as they say in the Sunday post. GJ
  21. Book bit done Mairi and looking forward to wrapping it up for Mrs Wifes Krimbo, can't wait to see her face when she opens it Hopefully get the DVD in time as well just to add as a stocking filler! I know, I spoil that woman of mine GJ

    SPARKPLUG-2/MIX

Greetings Spark plug- NGK BP 5 ES Fuel mix - Clicky here to help you choose Workshop manual - Clicky here for lots of handy info GJ
  23. Conjures up quite an image? Definitely looks dodgy, the continuity is out on the bidding history and you don't often see such large increases in the first 24 hours of a seven day listing? I'm assuming the bidders (and sellers) accounts have all been hi-jacked as the feedback and other info all seems genuine enough? Probably all done by the same person? Makes ya think eh? GJ
  24. As I already own the perfect configuration of trials bike I'm afraid I need to abuse this thread...my apologies in advance Basically: What engine: Briggs and Stratton What frame: Zimmer What forks: Garden What Rear Shock: 240 volts What plastic: Tupperware What wheels: Castor What (factory) colour: Grey or brown (most factories are grey or brown?) What factory graphics: To Let What clutch: Massey Ferguson What brakes: Tea breaks, smoke breaks and NAAFI breaks are my favourites Should be an interesting configuration! Indeed GJ
