  3. I guess that every one is right about you r2 you are barking throwing that nicely prepped GG up quarry faces at your age.Yeah RL is pretty Urban but his no hopping technique is fascinating to watch reminds me of Kuriyama and Raga just alien life form skill.I suppose if you can ride a bit the appreciation factor for these guys just blows me away. Changing the subject to bottom brackets do trials and regular MTB's differ or are the same, still trying to piece together all about the differences between the trials and regular drive chain,do you know what ISIS means? One more, mailed Trialstars for some info on prices for the GG but no response after a week, any idea on costs for the graphics, the quality looks good, have you dealt, spoke to them..... how's the injury....I'll shurrup now. H

  7. I'm with you r2w my bike needs to last me a few years too but I like to fine tune the bike just for the pleasure of enjoying my hobby.I rode my first trial in 4 yrs last weekend so I know my bike is way ahead of my skills but had a fantastic day out and didn't damage me or the bike so yeah i'm ready to do it again.Found out the throttle cable needs routing better on lap 3 so need to adjust that, you can go on and on fine tuning and probaly throwing a lot of money at your bike........how much are Keihn carbs again?MMm hubba hubba!! H
  8. Thanks Workshop Yodas I reckon there is no significant wear yet but really feel the need to clean and regrease to prolong life of the bearings.Just a question has any one fitted an Ohlins shock and found any great difference? H
  9. It is pretty smart, reckon I will contact Kev for a pic I was hoping some one might have taken one at the show.Begs the question do you change your bike regularly or just personalise like Kev's and customise your bike to your own spec, riding bikes is a money pit either way you go,mmm fancy an Ohlins shock next!!! H
  10. Thought it was about time I stripped down the linkages.I can't find anything on previous posts so Hello again Workshop Yoda's.Really just some advice on any pitfalls on takeing the linkages apart prior to regreasing. H
  11. Saw Kev's 250 Raga Rep at the Dirt Bike show in Telford on thursday but didn't have my camera with me, if some one is going could they get a photo of it,he say's he has too much time on his hands. He's done probaly the ultimate Gas Gas trick bike, much impressed. H
  12. 13. I guessed I can't be the only one who has problems I'm going to take it to bits this afternoon on purpose to try out [must be nuts doing it on purpose].I'll ask the wife to see if the swear-o-meter registers from the garage later to see if it all works. Thanks again to all Workshop Yodas! H
  14. Any one have the same experience of refitting the seat pan air box assembly Pro 03 after maintanence,I've read the other posts relateing to sealing the air box but putting it all back on to the carb is a right pain in the a**e.Any tips or mods would be welcome. H
  15. I'm about to apply for a French FFM comp licence and one of the criteria is that you must supply a doctors certificate, after a medical check up,basically to prove your fit to ride, another sign of insurance paranoia I suppose. Is this an ACU requirement yet I don't remember it being one but things might have changed. H
  16. Thanks for the advice guys still might give it a go, the spacer's not expensive, just to try the difference, might save the dodgy knee abit on starting,OLS old trialy syndrome! Any clues on the torque settings for the head bolts? Thanks H
  17. Thanks for the response W1 interested to know if your mate fitted the spacer himself, is it just head off and no other adjustments with timing and stuff, carb settings etc?Or a workshop job.Curious to try this avenue with slightly softer power.Anyone else tried this mod? H
  18. I've had my 250 Pro now for 4 months and ride it 2 or 3 times a week the motor runs really sweet now with the 33 pilot jet but the question is the compression in kickstarting. It's like I have to stand on the kick to get it to fire up which it does easynow but it just seems to take a lot of effort which can be a pain in stuck up a section situations. Can I expect the motor to loosen up,in relation to kickstarting,I've seen the gasket mod on the GGUK site to lower compression, anybody done this? I was watching Raga Fajardo and other GG pilots yesterday at the Urbain Trial in Cahors and apart from them being just awesome to watch when it comes to kickstarting it 's just a no effort prod and away you go,Raga's 300 just seems to have amazing soft power I'm sure he could kickstart by hand.I know what I'm after is just a tweek but whats a trials bike without a tweek? Raga won on 1 damn that kid is good! H
  19. I've am useing my road bike stand made in the UK by abbastands the mounting slots into the swinging arm spindle on my GG and lifts the bike easy. The plus' are it's much easier to do quick oil changes than a regular stand.I could post a pic if any interest or have a look at their site www.abbastands.co.uk H

  24. Fancy getting some Forkleg protectors for the gg pro, carbon ones look cool I know but the plastic ones also look like hey you must fall off a lot!Any thoughts on either type like fitting durabilty n'stuff, best price and from who.The wife says the Blue Peter stickyback plastic route is the way to go.........Girls!!! H
