Well what a week!
Got to be one of the best SSDT's for excitment and tension and well done Dougie for the win and now taking the record of 6 wins
Watching things during the week there have been some epic battles Bradley Cox and Luke Walker battling it out for the best newcomer well done to you both with Bradley taking the win.
Then the ''Old Mans'' battle Junior must be gutted having led all week for a man that don't ride much well done, but Adam Norris chipped away all week and grasped the win on the final day.
Being ex military I have watched the Army team of Vince Macintosh, Daz Hesleton and Stu Payne well done for lifting the Service Trophy, Daz finally beating Vince and getting the last First Class Award and Stu for a first effort well done for getting to the finnish.
Whoever you were supporting it was epic...........................

Missing a section
Miss more than one group and exclusion
You can still ride round for no award

JS was obviously struggling with his ongoing wrist injury? Wonder if he will be able to mix in the podiums when back to full fitness? But as you say worrying. You would have thought Pol Tarres would have been up there too, but again off the pace, what did the Jotagas perform like?
The only star from British soil was Brad with 2 second places and Luke on Sunday making a top 10 so maybe we need to be looking at the Youth riders and pushing them rather than the Championship/Junior.
No disrespect to Dibs and Pune but 6/7th I think will be about right again for this year if they get a podium then it will be a one off ride I suspect? Wiggy well off the pace, is he doing a full series?
Once again I think it will be Bou's year and a good ride from Raga to win on Saturday, but you have to be consistent to beat Mr Bou and Raga's result on Sunday put Bou leading the championship and maybe thats the way it will stay!!!!

And the flags they saw were not Red and Blue..............They were WHITE

Just got some S3 for my Mont http://www.trialscentral.com/forums/topic/41246-time-for-a-change/
Good quality not the cheapest and you could do with a heat gun to put them on.
Other options are ebay Express Signs I have used them and seem ok

He could have said ''Nope'' for 4 letters, he could have said 'Nah'' for 3 letters or he could have bagged a simple win with ''No'' for 2 letters
-
As said take the lights off because if fitted they must work!
-
You don't have to rig up the lights for an MOT you can get a daylight MOT that will get you on the road, unless you plan to do a bit of night riding?
-
Hey they are practising carrying the Olympic Torch, now I am no expert but that ain't rocket science?
One reason for the practise lap was to help the Clerk of the Course if alterations were needed, maybe that is more relevant with the No Stop rules if the section is too easy then it can be stiffened up?
We still had a winner, a second, athird and so on so can't really see what the problem was bar lack of concerntration.............some more than others!
-
Looks like Shaughan is saying something to Dibs?
-
Well not much feed back would like to hear from people that were there, both riders and spectators?
I think everyone knows that the terrain in Fort William is ideal for the new No Stop rules, but the initial feed back is that it was an excellent trial and well organised.
Looks like it has brought a few more riders into the top class and the experts was well supported. we need to bridge the gap between the Youth's and the adults and maybe this format is working rather than sending them to a trial where they are out of their depth?
Scores? Dibs cleaned every section and got a 5 in one and came third? It would be interesting to hear what happened was it a 5? Was it the rules? I suppose if he cleaned everything then we would be saying it was a waste of time, but the scores say different, as I said would be interesting to hear?
How No Stop will work further South is down to the Clerk of the Course, maybe after a few more events people will have some better views one thing is for sure the guy that wins the BTC this year is not only going to be a good rider, but his concerntration levels will have to be exceptionally high!!!

For the Montesa 4RT rider.....................even in Repsol Orange??

Buy a 4RT its easy then its 50% petrol mixed with 50% petrol
Other people have used a 60% and 40% ratio and it dosen't really make any difference to how sweet the motor runs!!!!!

One in Scottish Championship!

-
I ain't got enough fuel to get anywhere near you?
-
Might need to fill up tomorrow
Can any TC members offer me any advise? Might have a bit of road rage with some Granny desperate to fill her car up this Year?
-
I have just paid my Tenner for Site Supporter, reckon Andy could get Mother & Daughter for that?
-
-
Hate to bring it up again! But maybe the rules put people off, I am off to a trial today and I would have to ask what rules we are riding under?
That coupled with little Johny's Dad argueing with said obsevers about his precious Son's score being different to what the observer has marked, touching flags, missing flags, flags laid down ''that wasn't me''!!
Yeh give us a board I will give up my spare time.................
By the way I have obsevered. set out and help organise so I am not saying I wouldn't do it, I can maybe see why people don't want to?
-
Welcome John
Thats one lightweight Ariel you got there? Pretty sure though in the rules you need wheels
-
...........and they arn't cheap!!
