How often do you do that?
It amazes me how people can find positives and negatives from a ''Bike Launch Photo'' I am sure they will have teething problems, but let the bugger start and see how it performs you never know it may work
-
Who is to say these championships won't go back to 'No Stop' in the future? They have to do something because in my opinion they are not the best supported championships and that is not sustainable without complete collapse!
-
Enduro? Agree about the Scot but the clue is in the name ''Time and Observation'' Disagree about the SSDT though yes you do loose time for being late, the same rules apply to the BTC and the WTC!
-
Looks like a Gasser to me

Mick Grant
Road Racing to Trials!

Nah Tim SSDT was my baby was never daft enough to enter the Scott probably wish I did now in my younger days!!!!
-
Hey didn't see you name in the results :moon:
Before you have a go at me I am too old, too fat and far to smart to even fill out an entry form <_<
-
Are you paying his Air Fare

There are lots of people on here that have said that the WTC can't be sustainable and I have been one of them!
The logistics behind it must be a nightmare and I am sure both Jake and Martin had many sleepless nights wondering if the numbers were going to add up, not their fault it is all the facilities that have to be put in place to run this sort of event.
In this present economic climate I too have to look at budgets and I have a passion about Fort William so my budget went on the SSDT, yes I would have loved to have gone to the WTC the last 2 years, but with other holidays to think about it was not possible.
I did however go to Hawkstone Park and the organisation was fantastic, and I much prefer the outdoor to the indoor circus and hopefully a solution one day will suit both riders and organisers, but I bet not many people on here would like to take on a World Trial?
I wish L+M all the best for any future events they may choose to take on and I am sure it is the right decission they have made about 2012.

An Army Major visiting some sick soldiers, goes up to one private and asks,
"What's your problem, Soldier?"
"Chronic syphilis, Sir"
"What treatment are you getting?"
"Five minutes with the wire brush each day."
"What's your ambition?"
"To get back to the front, Sir."
"Good man.", says the Major.
He goes to the next bed.
"What's your problem, Soldier?"
"Chronic piles, Sir"
"What treatment are you getting?"
"Five minutes with the wire brush each day."
"What's your ambition?"
"To get back to the front, Sir."
"Good man.", says the Major.
He goes to the last bed.
"What's your problem, Soldier?"
"Chronic gum disease, Sir"
"What treatment are you getting?"
"Five minutes with the wire brush each day."
"What's your ambition?"
"To get the wire brush before the other two, Sir"

It was discussed HERE about the WTC which led on to the BTC!
Maybe as the great trials Nation that we used to be we should take the lead that others might follow.........as to what the solution is is open for debate and has been discussed to DEATH!
But when it gets down to 4 or 5 riders they might wonder if there is a problem, they obviously don't when there is 6 or 7 riders?

What's is Dave's position at WTC level? and how has he broke the rules?
-
Who wrote the rules? Surely they can be re-written to help the sport?
-
It is not Rocket Science to see that the WTC may die a death if something isn't changed.
There are several things that could make it better but I have a couple of ideas, and I will await the TC bashing brigade to shoot me down?
The best riders seem to be coming out of Europe so maybe we should concerntrate on keeping within these countries. If each Country runs their own Championship, but nominates one round to count towards the World Championship then this would surely be easy to accommodate?
This keeps the cost down and maybe it will encourage the factories to help and support more riders if funds are available. I know this may upset Japan, America, and all the other out of reach Countries, but surely if the riders are good enough then they could move to Europe for the Season?
Secondly whatever the weather conditions were in Japan on the second day I congratulate them on getting the sections right for the whole of the Championsip entry as there was only 10 marks or less between all the places, the outcome could have been different for every rider with an odd five and a few three's all places could have changed with no massive gap. Maybe just maybe they have to try and go back to No stop...........You know it may just work!! seems a lot of the British Importers want it, we will just have to wait.
Well thats my two pennath

Sure was Lee Sunny Bunde still got a good friend there, I live with a German so speak the lingo.
Only problem with living with her is there a re chuffing towels every morning on our Sofa
-
So the section is impossible without backing up? Then 5 the lot of then maybe the sections will be more rideable or the system of marking needs looking at?
Ah that old chestnut?
-
Guten Tag und herzlich willkommen zu Trials Central.

Not WTC but BTC only 6 riders in the Championship class today, I don't have the answers, but a lot of work goes into putting on these trials and the organisers must feel slightly let down?
Yes there are other routes and riders but this has got to be a record?
-
Anyone no why he was a non starter today at the BTC?
