  1. There was a rumour that when he hung up his motorcycle boots he would swap for 4 wheels, rallying has been mentioned, but Formula 1 is the biggest gossip with the Ferrarri Team??
  2. The 4RT does not have a fuel tap!! From the tank the fuel goes through the fuel pump which is fitted underneath the fuel tank. This has a very fine filter system on it as the pump can soon damage if any c**p gets in there so the fuel leaving the pump to go to the ECU is very clean Hence there is no reason to put an in-line filter on the 4RT, just make sure it is clean going in the top of the fuel tank.
  3. Think you will find Andreas Lettenbichler is a German Trials Champion, so that would make 3 trials riders on the podium! I remember a programme on the TV where they got the top motorcyclists from each dicipline and they had to compete in each others sports, but not their own! The trials boys came out on top
  4. I took 2 out left the one on the end of the silencer in. Bit more noise friendly
  5. One for the Scots to have a smile about.................. Condom factory burns down in ENGLAND: Rt Hon Andy Burnham MP MINISTER FOR HEALTH is awoken at 4am by the telephone. Sorry to bother you at this hour but there is an emergency!! I've just received word that the Durex factory in Liverpool has burned to the ground. It is estimated that the entire English supply of condoms will be gone by the end of the week. Rt Hon Andy Burnham MP: s**t !! The economy will never be able to cope with all those unwanted babies. We'll be ruined. We're going to have to ship some in from France? Bad idea The frogs will have a field day on this one. Junior Minister: What about Scotland? Rt Hon Andy Burnham MP: I'll call Alex Salmond. Tell him we need five million condoms, ten inches long and eight inches thick. That way they'll continue to respect the English Three days later a delighted Andy Burnham MP runs out to open the boxes that arrived at the Post Office. He finds five million condoms. 10 inches long, 8 inches thick, all coloured blue with a white cross on............................ small writing on each one reading........ MADE IN SCOTLAND - SIZE: MEDIUM
  6. PM me with your email address I have the parts and owners manual in pdf. I will send them over. Away on business, back Friday so will send them over then.
  7. Last button on screen ''Earth'' does it for you or below click on Google Earth and it converts automatically? Took an interesting route up the ''Brae'' over the tops of the roofs
  8. Max Speed 50.8 mph.......................Bet the old Beta was singing
  9. I could tell you, but its a bit like a Pre '65 bikes internals.............SECRET
  10. A Canadian walks into a bar in rural NC and orders a glass of white wine. The whole bar gets quiet. The bartender asks,
  11. Just you 1. Which rider has won the Pre 65 trial 6 times? 2. He has also competed in the ''Main'' event the 6 days; so what was his best finishing position? 3. If you have the answer to question 2 then what year was that? Simple ..................or your pretending you don't understand so people leak the answers here
  12. The following are all replies that Manchester women have written on Child Support Agency Forms in the section for listing "father's details;" or putting it another way.....Who's your baby's Daddy? These are allegedly genuine excerpts from the forms. . 1. Regarding the identity of the father of my twins, Makeeshia was fathered by Maclearndon McKinley I am unsure as to the identity of the father of Marlinda, but I believe that she was conceived on the same night. 2. I am unsure, as to the identity of the father of my child as I was being sick out of a window when taken unexpectedly from behind. I can provide you with a list of names of men that I think were at the party if this helps. 3. I do not know the name of the father of my little girl. She was conceived at a party at 360 East Bolton Avenue where I had sex with a man I met that night. I do remember that the sex was so good that I fainted. If you do manage to track down the father, can you please send me his phone number? Thanks. 4. I don't know the identity of the father of my daughter. He drives a BMW that now has a hole made by my stiletto in one of the door panels. Perhaps you can contact BMW service stations in this area and see if he's had it replaced. 5. I have never had sex with a man. I am still a Virginian. I am awaiting a letter from the Pope confirming that my son's conception was ejaculate and that he is the Saver risen again. 6. I cannot tell you the name of Alleshia dad as he informs me that to do so would blow his cover and that would have cataclysmic implications for the economy. I am torn between doing right by you and right by the country . Please advise. 7.Tyrone Hairston is the father of child A If you do catch up with him, can you ask him what he did with my AC/DC CDs? Child B who was also borned at the same time.... well, I don't have clue. 8. From the dates it seems that my daughter was conceived at Euro-Disney World; maybe it really is the Magic Kingdom. 9... So much about that night is a blur. The only thing that I remember for sure is Gordon Ramsey did a programme about eggs earlier in the evening... If I had stayed in and watched more TV rather than going to the party at 56 Miller St , mine might have remained unfertilized. 10. I am unsure as to the identity of the father of my baby, after all, like when you eat a can of beans you can't be sure which one made you fart. ........................and Finally? 11. I can't remember who the father was? He never took his crash helmet off
  13. Persistant arn't you?? Me thinks this will get deleted along with all your other posts........and good of you to put your email address on...............if its legitimate?
  14. Spot on there Donald. Doug knew the Stators had been sorted on the Evo's, but history would point you in that direction so was the immediate thought? There was a very faint spark but very intermitant! As Doug did not have a Stator, Coil, CDI...............I can't really see what difference it would have made as the bike was stripped and the lost time was sat around waiting for Mart to bunk up? To change the Stator, CDI and Coil was a matter of a few minutes! So HDfilm your super prognosis from the top of Lagnaha was right, but would not have saved his day?
  15. Wonder how many times Browny wished his bike would have started...............................that's the SSDT I'm afraid man and machine need to start and finnish, Doug and Browny have there own unfortunate stories to tell but beleive me there will be loads more!!! Well done Wiggy top ride to hold your nerve Saturday .....and will Albert be back next year?????????????
  16. Right before the gossip starts this is how it happened, as I was about 2 feet away? Doug had almost completed the day and had the last 2 sections to do in Lagnaha, the bike had been playing up but was still running Doug also had a problem with his shock so Mart had headed back to the Fort to get sorted in Park Ferme as time was tight? Having walked the section Doug was in the queue with a clubby rotorvating his way up the last 2 subs, Doug stopped the bike to check if the line was still OK and not littered with rocks from the rotorvating! Went back to the bike which he said started, but was running backwards? stopped it then it wouldn't start. They tried a new plug and all the immediate remedies, but dead as a 'DoDo'' so a phone call to Park Ferme where Mart and Griff set off back to Lagnaha with a van full of spares (of course Mart obeyed all speed limits?) Doug and bike were back down by the road now and set about removing flywheel and stator (obvious choice initially, however the stator is well sorted on the new EVO but it was still the immediate thought): then sat about waiting for Mart. I had worked his time card out and he had about 20 minutes to time control at this point. Mart bunked up with Griff with the Police Cones conveniently moved to one side and he then ran over the old stator!!! Good job they had a new one and was put on in double quick time, kicked the bike still no joy! Changed most other electrical parts, kicked still no joy!! Griff then said well last thing we can do is change the ignition coil, but they never go (JL apparantly only take s a couple to the SSDT as they never fail?), quick change and it fired up, so with the coil strapped to the frame with a cable tie, no rear mudguard, no flywheel cover he set off ''SCOTT'' style back up to do the last 2 subs, back down the hill and down the road burning rubber!! .....and thats about it. Fair play to Doug for carrying on and for putting in 3 clean days Better Luck in 2011
  17. Some of us are still at work (but heading up tommorow ) and my day entailed seeing a couple of customers in Liverpool, so early start and on the M6 at 0630Hrs. At 0715Hrs we came to a grinding halt 5 miles before Junction 15..............and I was still there at 1100Hrs, I noted that the 3rd lane was now starting to move, I did what any Law abiding ''Van Driver'' would do and ''BARGE'' my way into that lane hoping to get off at 15 and head South. The plan worked as I made up the 5 miles in the next half hour off at 15 and back South 1145Hrs.....ish. While sitting there for several hours I wondered how many riders or spectators were in this gridlock heading up to the Pre 65 and that they would have a very long journey from here? Well the queue on the other side was horrendous must have stretched a good 10 miles and I did pity and poor bugger at the end of it........................Only to see the SHERCO works lorry near the end He might have reached Manchester by now?????
