Not quite clear yet if he was on board, but has dabbled a bit in Trials?

Too right Multi World Champion ''Eddy Lejune'' never won the SSDT , not sure Mr Bou would either if all the top riders were to ride it?
We were quite happy when Dougie moved the goal posts and took the WTC to another level and bagged 7 wins, now Bou and Raga seem to have a battle amongst themselves...........there seems to be a problem with the WTC.
Don't have the answer, whether to keep it as it is open only to the ''Elite'' at the very top of the sport, or open it up for more riders to compete.
Just a point if Tony Bou is going to walk away with the Championship in 2008 it will become quite boring for me very quickly and I will be more interested who is beating who in places 3 to 10.

Diplomacy not one of your strong points? I am sure Andy will have a suitable explanation and it is in hand???

At the grand old age of 22! you are not restricted to the c.c. of the bike so you pay your money and take your choice
The problem asking a lot of people on what bike is best is they wil say 'X' bike is best because that is the one they have got.
Best thing to do is try a few out for yourself; maybe at a local event if you can blag a ride and decide for your self. All the bikes on the market have good points and bad points, but remember each and everyone of them is far more capable than us riders

The power of advertising? Don't really care what it is about but this one I have seen several times now and it works for me.
Brilliant

Videos on the webite are good.

Havn't the Beta Enduro bikes got the kTM engine?
So how much input they gave to the Rev-4 ????????
Ulf Karlson will be competing in the WTC in 2008

****Newsflash****
Kinell has been sponsored to take one round the 2008 SSDT, his comments were:
''No maintenance required on these beauties so I can concerntrate on the route markers, I wonder if the garage in Morar has got electric so I can top it up''

23rd September, will we see the 4 banger out twice this year?????
-
Welcome Ruffy, and before you go any further you will fall off in this sport too..........its a bit slower though
2 stroke or 4 stroke it is personal choice, but if you prefer 4 stroke there are Montesa, Sherco, Beta and Scorpa to choose from. The Montesa tends to be the popular choice and is ultra reliable and will suit a clubman rider no problem at all. Of course I am biased as I have one, but I have tried them all and that is the best way to do it.
Go along to a local event and see whats there, ask the riders see what they say; some may even let you try?
I know it is a bit of a trek for you but the guys at BVM in Stroud are very helpful and have many bikes new and secondhand on display, might be worth a trip over.
Good Luck!

As long as the sections are easy I don't see you have a problem, but..........................
somone may hurt themselves and that is partly why we walk the section to avoid a injury??
Would you jump over a wall when you don't know what's on the other side, because someone said it would be fine
As I said there are plenty of clubs that run LDT's where no inspection is the order of the day so go for it, but nowt dangerous
-
Firstly I think Dougie has another 12 months contract with Montesa, no doubt somone in higher authority will confirm?
Secondly Montesa are not daft to loose a 7-times World Champion to another team? In PR alone that is worth $$$?
If and it is a big ''IF'' he chooses to leave Montesa; and I do think it will be his choice; my bet is he may run a Satelite team similar to 'TRW' with either Montesa or Beta......................

Wuss.....I nearly lost a finger nail once
.........................and stop doing the housework
-
Probably nothing to do with the carb!
Might be the head gasket gone and it is drawing coolant in and blowing it out as steam, this happened to me on a Scorpa!
-
CK you sound like my mother when I were a nipper
-
And a few of us were thinking of going to Spa on our bikes for a blast, staying in Malmedy.........so thanks for the early warning Andy
4 Stroke wins WTC bet a certain Belgian World Champion would never see that again along with a few others.
Mr Raga crying.................whats new!!!!!!!
-
Used to go and visit my Gran in hospital she used to give me and my brother 5p each, my brother took the shilling and I wanted the big five penny coins, because I thought it was more!! I was only about 4 years old at the time.
Anyway we used to go to the shop across the road from the hospital and buy the biggest bag of sweets for that 5p....................how times change
-
-
Go and observe a section then when its done unload the bike and have a practice
-
-
And here lies the debate of which rules are best, seems the riders don't know what they are doing, the obsevors don't know either.....................................
Was the observor on section one right to give a five, as per the rules or maybe the sideways movement was infact a slight roll back, I was not there? but the rules are hard for both riders and observors to adhere to.
If he observed everyone the same then there shouldn't have been a problem, you still get a winner.

Make sure you read the description before you buy
