Knock the trick riding on the head and go back to tsr 22b rules for all trials for a start, sections dont need to be as hard and steps dont need to be as big if you cant stop.

Not heard that one before but if its right its stupid. Totally agree with you,it makes a mockery of the sport and we all might as well just go practicing and ride where we like.
-
Just been told that the Colonial National trial that was to run on 8/2/09 has been cancelled due to the weather
-
My 125 07 gas gas has the mapping switch but it doesnt seem to make any difference wheather it is on the cloudy or sunny part
-
I would say a 125 or 200 beta.
-
Jesus mate you must be one hell of a rider if a 4rt hasn't got enough power for you.I know plenty of expert riders who ride 'em and i've yet to hear one of them say they've not had enough power to clear obstacles that most mere mortals (my self included) would even attempt!!!!!

Got told yesterday that 125 is

Hi,just go to the eboracum website, www.eboracumtrials.org.uk. It will tell you who to get in contact with

Hi been looking for a 250 rev3 07 but havnt found a good one yet.Got chance of a 270 at right price and its immaculate.Just wonderded if any body could tell me what they ride like, would it be too much of a handful for a clubman and any mods you can do to make them more clubman friendly.Cheers.
-
Hi,does anybody know where i can get hold of an aftermarket system for my 4rt.Looked at mitani ones but a bit pricey at thick end of

Lot of good up and coming riders on the horizon but unfortunately many wont make it due to lack of finance, where as the Spanish,French and Italian youth get plenty of backing from their federations our lads get sod all from the ACU.Only got to look in the paddock of a WTC and their's no sign of a british team truck only the other countries. Its about time the ACU started a team up for the british up and coming lads and lasses to give them that much needed helping hand to make it to the next level.Only my point of view soz if i upset anybody.

All this about the xispa been a sherco copy seems to me as the pan calling kettle grimey a**e.Wasnt the 99 sherco very very similar to the gas gas and didnt gas gas uk use the heading of, imitation is the biggest form of flattery, in its adverts of the time
-
Dont know if anybody's still interested, but i've just dug a peice out on doug's 06 mont. It says :- In truth the repsol monts are the only real full factory bikes, with most components being hand crafted by either hrc or at the teams european hq.Each chassis is made from parts in the spanish competition department and is jigged to suit the exact requirements of each rider rather than been a cut and welded stock version.Billet yokes hold one off forks while the rear showa shock is so special that even with the budget of hrc each rider can only have 2 at any one time. The engines are narrower shorter and more powerful.Using technology borrowed from moto gp they have programmable fuel injection and mapping boxes that allow 7 settingsto be stored three of which the rider can have active at any one time. They areseveral kilos lighter than last years bike (05)and the article finishes by saying that they are perhaps the most technically advanced bikes ever to be seen in the off road world. Hope this answers a few questions.
-
Got told that xispa gone back to factory with bikes cos cobos not happy with something, dont know what but i think they want it right before they bring em out
-
Thanks to you both it turned out to be the cap got another one on order from gas gas uk. Would just like to know how much tension to put on the spring when i put it back together and should the allen bolt that holds the clutch basket on be fairly tight as it seemed to come off very easy. Thanks again, weeble.
-
Thanks a lot will have a look tonight, hope its the cap.Cheers
-
My lad was riding his 125 gasser today and clouted the gear lever on a log which turned it round on closer inspection it turned out that its not spun it on the splines but it looks as if the return spring or something has broken . Can get all the gears but the lever just goes further and further round. Has anybody else come across this, any advice, guidance would be welcome.Cheers

Everthorpe quarry as we know it is owned by east riding county council and is a sssi.I have rode there for about 15 years but a gate was put on to stop 4x4 going on, the gamekeeper who has his pheasants at the back of the quarry was ok with trials riders but hated motox,4x4 boys because of the noise, but it aint up to him.I would suggest to keep off if the police have told you to because i think youwill be in serious poo poo if you get collared on a sssi. Not only that but all you are doing is giving trials riders a bad name.Find somewhere legal to ride like wilsons farm at barton.Just for the record i haven't rode at the quarry for a year or so

Anybody know when round 1 is on the telly ? If at all, cheers
