I'd go with the stator based on that info.

I use Jitsie filters and had never really thought about it but you're right, it doesn't seem to be logical to have the fine bit first....
However I've not had any problems in 3 years and I content myself in the knowledge that hopefully they know more than me about putting filters together!

Duck/Gaffa tape a piece of leather or something to the inside of your boots, replace as necessary?

I have watched 'what the bleep' and after doing so read a bit about quantum physics as (bit of a geek) i find it damn interesting! I'm also an ex sort of martial artist so I've read a bit about chi and cultivating energy and things.
My point would be if it works on a scientific level and it is the band itself causing the effect it should be able to be proved scientifically that it works on everyone. If it only works on some people then I'd venture its the people themselves causing the change by a change in thinking patterns.
If it's the person's mind that causes the change then surely we could all train our minds to accomplish this change (meditating, tai chi, or just doing positive thinking exercises al la sports psychology) for free without buying the bracelet.
Mind you its probably cheaper than hiring a sports psychology coach!
I hope that made sense, its late and i'm !
All the best!

Paoli's do have a drain bolt as well as the damper holding bolt.
-
A quick glance at their website leads me to say - utter balls!
Placebo effect at best, show me some scientific double blind tests and I might change my opinion.
-
Sounds like you found a false neutral! I bet that was a shock!

For the gear box oil I use the ultra light PJ1 which is a 75w. You can also use ATF or Elf HTX 740.
For clutch and brake I just use standard Dot4 stuff like in cars.
BVM moto do most things.

You can do it by draining it from the bottom. Get the bike so the front wheel is off the ground, undo the drain plug. You might have to undo the top of the fork to get all the oil out and maybe pump it up and down a bit.
To refill you have to undo the top nut on the fork, to do this you'll have to loosen the upper triple clamp that holds the fork in place. I think its about 360ml per leg on the earlier Paoli forks, not sure about the Showa's from '00 onwards. Have a search on the forum, I think the info is there.

That stuff's fine, i've been using it for years.

Just type "scorpa brake" into ebay, simple enough......

You put in super unleaded as the higher octane rating reduces the knocking (pinging) - which is pre ignition of the fuel.
Beta's aren't known for knocking so I'd suggest you might need new piston rings.
-
Haha sorry bout that! Was bored, thought I'd reply!
-
Yes. I'd normally put one just after the fuel tap.
-
You still need a CBT for anything above a 50cc moped.
-
I think thats true and I think it's if your licence was issued before 2001. dvla site

You need to ring Nigel Birkett ( Birkett Website ) I would reckon.

Really really good for 3 months! Just need more practice, you're just a bit out of shape after landing on the second one which is stopping you getting a good run at the last one. Once you're confident enough to do one and two easily you'll be in better shape to do 3 if that makes sense. Concentrate on landing in the right place after 2, once thats sorted you can take step 3 on.
If you were feeling brave you could give a little hop on your back wheel just as you're leaving step 1 to help you over that gap. I'd keep my front end a bit lower as well to but don't listen to me as I'm not much better than you!

Find a saddlers and ask them to stitch a bit of leather over it?

I have a mono and I'd swap it for a 125 scorpa in a heartbeat if it was my day to day bike! The scorpa is loads lighter and the suspension is way better.
-
It looks good, I wouldn't be surprised if it just started with some fresh petrol! I'd use a semi-synthetic 2 stroke oil mixed at 50:1, so a 100ml of oil to 5L of petrol.
