Great guy who ownes the land,Nick, but land is too over grown, would need a cople of hours work with a strimmer, but land owner is happy to let the land be used!
Earl shilon trial tomo so have that to look forward too!
Im looking for somewhere real close,im self employed and can end uo working lng hours, plus getting to the Earl after work can be a pain due to traffic!!
Would be nice to have somewhere close to be able to have and hour or so a couple of times a week!
Im looking for some where to run my new bike in in the Redditch area??
I did the Leamingon Victory road trial earlier in the year and went to some great venues locally, was wondering if one of the kind land owners may let me do some practice???
Message me if any one knows of anywhere or some one i could ask, willing to pay to use land.
My mate had some tuition from you at the last training day at earl shilton i think?
He really enjoyed it!!!!
Ive rode earl shilton a few times, and have beenin the top 2 or 3 in the yellow route, sowill be interesting to see how 225 goes there, and yes ill stick with keihin for a while, but will try 10/42 this weekend :-)
Must admit i think i have lost my way a little..................?????????????????
I tried a Kehin carb on it for today, wow did it transform the response!!!!
Problem is its like a rocket now off the throttle, response is i would say too fast, carbrates really clean all the way thru range, just pulls really strong and revs up really quick, too fast for my liking!!!
Made it real hard to control on rocky stream climbs.
So,im not to sure what to do,...................The engine is still tight a new, only 8 hours on it at the moment,so this combined with the super response of the keihin may not help?
Also the gearing may be too low,all revs and no action if you know what i mean!
So im thinking of going back to the Dellorto until i have in excess of 25-30 hours on her, then try the keihin, also thinking of going to 10/42??
The gearing seemed good, was going to try a 10 after the trial but did not get time.
I think the 9 suits, although the capacity has increased the stroke is still short as its the 125 crank.so she revs up quick, but controllable.
The 125s run 9/48 so 9/42 is quite a increase in the gearing, plus this is what Factory Kevs uses, and another good expert rider i have spoken to said that when he went from 10 to a 9 it transformed the bike??
Got a good road trial on it this weekend so will have more info then.
Rode my new 225 for the first time today...........................WOW!
Really great fun bike to ride with loads of power and really soft off the bottom, bike feels light and much more agile and stable due to less engine inertia!
Three other guys rode it,an expert champion, clubman tip rider and a younger guy who has a 125,everyone loved it and did not want to get off it.
Sounds like you have an air leek,or in other words ,the engine is getting air from somewhere else than the carb.
Most common place is ignition side crank case oil seal, remove cover and check for oil in the ignition area, you may have to remove rotos and stator to be sure.
Im on my way, have now fitted a 125 engine into my 7 month old 08 chassis, going to run as 125 for a couple of trials to get abench mark then change to 225!
Done my first trial today as a 125,what a fun bike to ride, does not tire you and does not drag you thru the section if you get it wrong!!
