  10. hi there i just bought a jotagas 300 a couple of weeks ago ,second hand nearly new , i gave it a good service then rode it first in a trial ,it took a lap to get used to it mainly the gearing , i found i could use 3rd in some sections because the power is so smooth , after the trial i never felt tired but felt like i had owned the jotagas for 6 months it gave so much confidence ,by the way i have had a 250 gas gas before this
  11. i have used vee rubber tyres for a year or 2 while getting back in to trials after a 15 year break i found them ok in sections but they dont clear the mud out of the tread very well and the front tyre after 2 years the side wall perished and cracked they are good if on budget but michelins are the best if you want to get serious

  16. i think the carb rubber pipe to the air filter must be soft for the first year or so then it goes hard and difficult to line up on the carb mouth ive found this pipe too short also so the clip doesnt really nip on the carb rubber
  17. the rear brake question was explained to me by a bike instructor who said ,on the road when stopped in traffic you should keep the rear brake applied, and the left foot on the floor to stabilize your self which is safely near the kerb
  18. ive got one on my cub and its the same as yours its rich at the bottom end and weak at the top end and ive not found any jets for it the pilot is some pressin type on mine some one suggested poking a piece of thin copper wire down the pilot jet then soldering it to the side to bung up the hole a bit ive tried it and its better but not purfect

  20. i knew it would be a good topic to start , i got my entry too thank god cant wait , i wonder how they are marking non stop or stop permitted most of the section dont require a stop tho. thats a great wood where the hill climb is pity we cant use the beck sections near the start ,bring on all those big queues i was chatting so much i fogot why i was sat there have a great weekend fellas
  21. ive been toying with this rh brake idea but the pedal its self would be dificult to position if you think that the kick start has to go way down there to when starting although i had a ty 175 and the same thing happens there to ,have a look at 1 of them the cable looks quite feasable the outer mounted on the brake arm and looping right over the mudguard down the side of the oil tank to the new pedal similar to the bulto rh brake i would use 1/8 cable nice and thick outer another good thing about this would be no problem with suspension movment ive got 6" of travel and the rod always pulls the brake on
