I've done two Trials events, the most recent was the 22nd and 23rd of May. If you click on Gallery at the top, a list of events will come up. Scroll down to near the bottom and you should find El Trials de Espana....Thanks

Hmmm, 100 hits on my thread and no comments. Interesting. Nevermind the great photographic ability portraid here, I want to hear some comments on what you all think. What about the terrain, would you like to try this type, does it compare with the challenges and obsticles you all take on? How about a little conversation here....

Hey all, it was a great day here in southern California for Trials action. I thought maybe you might be interested in checking out some images. Between the two day's I'll probably take 700+ pics, so it'll take a week or so to load them all. Here's the link to my site. Click on Gallery and scroll down to the Trial de Espana...Enjoy.... Hey all, I wanted to thank everyone for their input on creating a B&W with color image. I went home last night and finally knocked one out. Uh, a picture that is...thanks again....JW

Thanks Andy! That's exactly what I was looking for. Pictures, showing drop down options. Now I can step though my version of PS and compare exactly what the tutorial has and the options I have. The frustrating thing now is that my work day has only begun and I have to wait till this evening to give it a try.....well gotta get back to work...JW

ercoman, it depends on what you want to do with a camera and how much you want to spend. I've attached a link to a site that I use alot to compare cameras. Hopefully, it's easily viewed on your side of the planet.... http://www.steves-digicams.com/hardware_reviews.html

Since I'm at my work computer and not my home computer, I can only invision what your describing. Is "Extract" selected from a drop down on the top bar, or is it a tool from the tool bar? If it's a tool, what does it look like????

Thanks for the welcome RVM, after I figure out how to load pics, I load some from the up coming El Trial. Andy, it's funny about the digital side of things. Like you, until last year, I only wanted to continue using my Canon A1s. Loved em. But then a little over a year ago, because I sell my pics, I converted to digital with my purchase of a Canon D60. Digital significantly increased the odds of breaking even or even making a little money. Now I doubt I'll ever go back to film. As a matter of fact, I'm expecting my second digital camera, Canon D10, in the mail any day...take care...JW/PP

Hey Ian, JWhitfield from so. Cal. I've got Photoshop LE but I'm still learning all the bells and whistles. I'd love to know how you created those B&W and Color combo shots. I'm always looking for a new twist to offer my customers. Thanks in advance.....

Hi Andy, if your the same Andy that has the 500+ pics posted on the website, you have a lot of great shots there! If your affiliated with the board, I might take you up on your offer. After I shoot the El Trial de Espana later this month, I'd be happy to post a few so everyone can get a look. I'm still on the learning curve with respect to Trials events, so if anyone has any tips, please let me know....Thanks again...JW/PP

Hi all, new guy here. My name is John Whitfield and I reside on the other side of the pond, in southern California. I'm a photographer and I cover action events such as desert racing and now, Trials events. Feel free to check out my site and see what's going on with the southern California Trails action. I'll be covering a big annual event later this month: The El Trial de Espana. If anyone is interested, I'll post some pics on your site. Thanks for your time and hope to hear back....
