    Alan, I also hope that you and your family had a wonderful Christmas. Some months ago there was an article in Trials Comp that showed how to set the sag on the Shercos. I believe that Bill Ibsen developed it. I have a copy of it and would be happy to send it to you. The dim they use is 2 1/2 inches for the sag. BTW the Polini manual is fantastic, if it is OK with you I will share it with the Sherco Dealers. Wayne

    The 2002 ran real well in slow sections if you changed the countershaft sprocket. You bought one with 1 less tooth and it felt just like the 2001. I like the 2004 better than the 01,02, and 03. The 04 engine is stroger and the suspension is much better. Wayne Merry Christmas to one and all. (Is that OK to say?)

    The 200 Sherco is not a bored out 125 it is actually an undersized 2.5 / 2.9. Sherco uses the same basic engine on all of the bikes 0.8 - 2.9. The cranks are common on the 2.5 and 2.9 and on the 0.8 - 2.00 (stroke is 50.6mm) The smaller bikes use a lighter flywheel as I understand it, some of the US Champ riders install the 1.25 flywheel on thier 2.9's when riding at altitude.     80:1, 8 ounces of Maxima K2 - 5 Gallons of Premium Gas. That is what we mix for Team Sherco. Wayne
